So I'm visiting a friend at a gay campground in the middle of nowhere, Ohio, USA. There is a small town 10-15 minutes down the road that by all rights would not have a full service grocery store were it not for the business that the handful of campgrounds, which attract a relatively diverse group of people to them, gives them. It's a cutesy small town, and out front of the entrance there is a community bulletin board.

There, amongst the flyers for a spaghetti dinners for a girl with cancer, and business cards for local painters and taxidermists, and even a few "Jesus loves you" tracts is a contact card for the Klan. It infuriates me because it's just so f****** casual. And I've pulled it down and thrown it away before, but it keeps showing back up.

I know that being an ally looks different out here. It's the girl at the local restaurant that arranges the colored pens in her apron in a certain order. And the friendly guy at the gas station who looks at me and my friend says "I hope y'all boys can get some relaxation this weekend". But this just irritates the s*** out of me.

Bought these fancy linen sheets from Quince a year ago and they’ve completely shredded. I sleep alone and don’t move around a lot in my sleep (or in my awake lol) and they’ve completely started shredding with these big holes all over. Was one of my first luxury purchases after getting a real job and it’s just so disappointing. I see what people mean now when they say that Quince is just expensive fast fashion.

We moved over the weekend. There is an alcove over the stairs. They removed ONE item and left the rest. You need an extension ladder to reach it. Why not pull it all down?

I don't know why they kept making American remakes of good foreign horror movies (The ring, the grudge, one missed call, dark water etc) that are worse versions of the original.

i work at a two register gas station that closes for 20 to 30 minutes a night so I can get my counts done. usually it's fine, usually people understand, but right as I was finishing my last drawer count, one register shut down and the other froze. meaning I had zero registers to use when I reopened.

I go do other things, hoping that they'll come back up by the time I'm supposed to reopen, and I have these two come up asking when I'll reopen.

I try to tell them I don't know, my registers shut down on me and they just. refuse to understand the concept of technology breaking. I told them if they didn't like my answer there was a gas station up the street they could go to.

I didn’t realize how often I used it until I went to print something and couldn’t easily hit ctrl + p with one hand.

I hate these caps you can't take off. They come up with these unbelievable designs that are completely unfit for purpose.

When I asked her about it, she refused to move and just said “the hose extends.” Had to back in crooked and squeeze next to her just to get it to reach my back tire.
