After three days fighting Yoshitsune, finally beat the game in carnage mode today. Only one trophy left but I will tackle that tomorrow. What an amazing game!

The issue, in my opinion, is that the game wastes your time too much.
If you only do the main missions and ignore everything else, the game is a 9/10, maybe even 9.5/10. It is incredible high effort and takes you to some beautiful locations.
However, the side missions are just dreadful. They are the lowest effort, least interesting side missions possible to pad out the game time. On action, I can just ignore them and focus on the main campaign. Which makes the game really really fun. But unfortunately, on carnage, the game basically forces me to do them if Yoshitsune ends in a reasonable amount of time. And they are just terrible.
The experience of carnage is so bad to me that it is enough to knock the game down to a 7.5/10.

I had to switch to story mode to beat the final boss. I’ve been grinding my ass and went all in on the hard difficulty but after 3 days, I couldn’t beat the final boss and switched to story. I feel like such a failure
How the hell are people beating him on carnage? Now that I’ve beaten him and the stress is off, I plan to go back and beat him on hard mode.
This game is 10/10

Quisiera saber opinión acerca de Musashi Miyamoto de Onimusha, la verdad es que en lo personal el personaje me ha encantado muchísimo.

5 play throughs and didn’t even realize how this charm worked until somebody pointed it out. For some reason I always saw the “when suffering status ailments” and thought why do I need to do more damage while I’m on fire?

Byakue is just really fun to fight for me and the demo did Carry over. I have only 9hs in the game but I will get back to the main game when I have time to play it more. It was like 10-11pm when I did this was just in the mood to do issen slashs.

Just completed my rematches on Carnage. It's the most fun I've had with the game. The Bishamon sword made the rematches incredibly fun and fresh because of being able to go for Issen as much as possible. I also have my own complaints about replaying on Carnage, but at the end of the day, the game is just fun. I just hope more people focus on that.
I played the first Onimusha on release, and faked being sick to get the second one because my pediatrician was next to a GameStop. Although it's wildly different from the previous installments, I think this may be my favorite game experience since Elden Ring (not comparing, just saying).

Am I the only one who thinks Onimusha's side quests feels like a chore to do? Lion dog, hidden chests, etc. I know it rewards you with items, charms, cosmetics and other stuffs but i feel like it is so dragging.
Speaking of dragging, i keep seeing the same old enemies when i explore. It gets so repetitive and got bored for awhile. The only thing its keeping me was the main story which is good.
Don't get me wrong though, the game is great. The combat is so satisfying, the story is interesting, and the bosses are cool but it is not a perfect game like other people says.
I'd rate it 8/10 respectfully for what its worth. But hey, its my opinion. Whats yours? I'm happy to see your thoughts.
