With Bishamon + onimusha mode, you can spam the attack button and the game just hands you issens. That's how I (not completely intentionally) did what OP is showing

Issen window is doubled in Oni mode with Bishamon equipped?! I never really noticed it because Oni mode Issen timing is already gracious enough.

Benkei was probably the easiest boss to Issen in the entire game, all attacks are pretty slow especially the overhead strikes

I know it looks really cool to pull off, but the health damage you incur on the Boss versus the one you take if you miss is not worth it for us that can't pull off the Issen consistently.

Try it in Oni mode friend. Issen timing is very gracious when you use Awakening

I learned that the first time I saw the attack because I panicked and pressed square haha
