Starting today, affiliate links are banned. Comments containing them will be automatically removed. The decision to allow them was made back when this was a tiny sub; we've since ballooned in size, there's been a noticeable uptick in users posting affiliate links (and in mass amounts, at that), and the rule was always on shaky ground due to both arbitrary enforcement (what dictates a "worthy" comment vs. a comment fishing for affiliate money?) and general principle.
If you've posted affiliate links in the past, you're not in trouble retroactively or otherwise. Comments containing affiliate links should, from now on, be automatically removed; no other action will be taken beyond automatic comment removal unless absolutely necessary.

Hi everyone,
I’m planning to buy a new phone with a budget of around ₹40,000.
Right now, I’m considering:
I mainly want a phone that can maintain high FPS smoothly, especially during long sessions.
I’d like to know from people who actually own these phones:
Also, if you know any other phone under ₹40K that can maintain better FPS than these, please recommend it.
If you’ve personally used any of these phones, please share your experience. I’d especially like to know about the FPS you get, heating, FPS drops, battery drain, and how the phone has performed over time.
Also, if you’ve personally used any other phone under ₹40K that you think is better than these, please share your experience and recommend it.

I am seeking recommendations for a mobile phone for my mother, whose main priorities are the camera and battery. She does not intend to play games or use extra features—only standard banking and photography—so could anyone suggest a durable, high-quality device under about 40 K with a strong camera, a capable processor, and reliable battery backup?

Hi, I'm after an Android for daily use. I've narrowed it down to two good contenders: an Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra or a Xiaomi 14 Ultra, both used 2024 models but in very good condition.
The Xiaomi has a better display, double the RAM/storage (although Asus can match it for £60 extra), better camera, much nicer design, more OS and security updates, faster charging, and it's a bit cheaper.
All the Zenfone has over it are a much nicer OS (I hate the look of HyperOS and want it as stock as possible), a headphone jack, and a bigger battery. Not much but these are all very important to me. On the other hand it has a worse display, worse support, costs more, looks very plain/boring, etc.
The Xiaomi is a nicer phone in nearly every way but I'm wondering if these are gimmicks and the Zenfone would be better for me to live with for the next 2 or so years. How do you decide between two phones in a situation like this? Thanks
(edit: budget is ~£450-500 GBP and location is UK, if that matters)

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy A56 in Canada and I’m thinking about switching to an iPhone.
Would it be worth upgrading from the A56 to an iPhone 17, or should I go for the newer iPhone 18 Pro?
For those who have used both Samsung/Android and iPhone, how big of a difference would I actually notice?
I’m also wondering if switching from Android to iPhone is something I might regret.
If you were in my position, would you keep the A56, get the iPhone 17, or go for the iPhone 18 Pro? Why?

ella tiene el suyo, pero ya es algo antiguo, me gustaría cambiarlo por uno más avanzado, que tenga una buena cámara, batería y sea cómodo para una persona ya mayor

ive been racking my brain between which to get for a while but it just seems that every phone i look at has some perks that the others dont.
i hear the hyper os is just kinda bad but that the color os is great, but the oppo costs a crazy amount. But then the xiaomi has a privacy screen ..
for me the priority is os, performance and battery at the most important and then camera as the least important, and thats exactly why i hesitate to get the oppo since its called the camera that happens to be a phone
ive been on a s20 fe for a good while now so i just want something that will not only last but feels good to use (and the xiaomi having a backscreen is just a big pro to me).

Hey everyone,
I’m looking to upgrade my phone soon and I'm currently torn between the Google Pixel 10 and the iPhone 16.
Here is my current usage pattern and setup:
Current OS: Long-time Android user (comfortable with the ecosystem, customization, and file management).
Primary Use Cases: Heavy media consumption (watching movies/shows), social media browsing/scrolling, and general daily tasks.
Key Priorities: A great display for video playback, reliable battery life, solid social media camera/app optimization, and overall smooth long-term performance.
I know both phones are flagship options, but I have a few specific questions for those who have used either (or switched between Android and iOS recently):
Social Media & In-App Camera Performance: iPhone has traditionally been the king of social media app integration (Snapchat, Instagram quality, video upload processing). Does Pixel 10 close that gap significantly with its camera/DSP processing, or is iPhone 16 still the safer choice for social media heavy users?
Media Consumption: How do the displays, speakers, and aspect ratios compare when watching videos/movies on Netflix, YouTube, etc.?
Ecosystem Shift: As a long-term Android user, how smooth/frustrating is the transition to iOS on the base iPhone 16 compared to staying on clean Android with the Pixel 10?

Hi there! Xiaomi redminote 13 is dying, after 5 years of hardwork.
Im looking to buy a new one.
https://amzn.eu/d/00gRobkM
Was checking out this one? Is it the best for the money?
Budget 350€ish, Country: Italy.
I dont care about camera, I mostly care about smoothness (this nord5 has a good cpu I heard) for light gaming and battery life.
What do you say? Have you got other suggestions?
