India Which Android phone has aged the best for you?

I'm replacing my current phone after almost 5 years and realized I care more about how a phone feels after a few years than how it performs in year one. I'm looking at a few options ( Pixel 10, Moto Edge 70 Fusion, OnePlus Nord 5), but I'd rather hear real experiences than benchmark numbers.

If you've used an Android phone for 3–5 years, in India perhaps, which one held up the best? What made it age well (or badly)?

India Buying a OnePlus 13 in 2026 - Will it last me 4-5 years?

  • If someone owns/has owned a OnePlus 13, could you please tell me about any issues or problems you've had during your ownership?
  • How has your ownership experience been?
  • Any good or bad experiences with OnePlus service centres?
  • Is this a good phone to buy in 2026?
  • Is there any alternative you would recommend?

I currently own a Samsung S20 FE which I bought in October 2021. The phone works fine, but 128GB storage is becoming an issue since not everything can be moved to the SD card. I want to buy a phone before prices go up, so I'm looking to buy a new one ASAP.

I would have gone with Samsung again as I'm very attached to One UI, but they disabled OEM unlocking starting with One UI 8. I want a phone that I can easily unlock the bootloader on so that I can use custom ROMs if needed.

So from the big companies, that only leaves OnePlus and Nothing. I'm getting the OnePlus 13 at a much better price than any Nothing phone. Nothing is also stock Android, and I prefer a heavier skin like OxygenOS.

My budget is up to 60k. My reasons for considering the OnePlus 13 are:

  • 512GB storage + 16GB RAM.
  • Flagship Snapdragon 8-series chip.
  • Feature-rich UI over stock Android.
  • Big battery.
  • Decent cameras.
  • Gaming performance isn't a priority.

I'm preferring to go for the OP13 over the OP15 because of the price difference. Otherwise, I prefer the flat display and bigger battery of the OP15. One less year of updates isn't a big deal to me.

I would also like to know how the custom ROM scene and community support are for the OnePlus 13.

Located in India.

india Xiaomi 17 or Scamsung S25?

Both are available at almost the same price, S25 128 and X17 512 .

I dont care much about storage but 128 still feels less.

and I am concerned about battery in s25.

also camera seems to be bad in X17 compare to S25 from what I have seen in the camera reviews.

What are your opinions? I am confused what should I get

India Which 256GB phone under ₹30k should I get during BBD 2026?

Hey guys, I'm planning to get a new phone during BBD and I'm stuck between these:

- Moto Edge 60 Pro 256GB

- Nothing 3a 256GB

- Nothing 3a Lite 256GB

- Nothing 4b 256GB (not really sure if it's gonna be within my budget during BBD)

- Moto Edge 70 Fusion 256GB

My budget is ₹30k max and I definitely want 256GB.

For people who actually own/use these phones, how are they in day-to-day use? Mainly looking at battery, camera, performance/heating, software/bugs, display and overall reliability. Also, how are Motorola and Nothing's service/warranty in India?

I'm planning to keep the phone for around 3 years, so I'd really appreciate actual long-term user experiences rather than just spec comparisons.

Also, are there any other 256GB phones under ₹30k that I should be looking at?

And what price do you guys think these might realistically hit during BBD? I don't want to depend too much on bank-card offers.

Thanks!

India What’s the most “buy once, use for years” phone in 2025?

S22 ultra motherboard got fried after 3 years, so looking for a new one.

I like clean UI, hate getting distracted a lot by my phone though, so with a good focus feature.

Love the concept of having local data with me for most things , so would go for 512 - 1tb local storage.

Have a galaxy watch4 that’s working fine for what it’s worth, I do like tracking health data, don’t really care if it’s a Samsung recommendation or not (though I hated my s22 freezing on me a lot).

Want to invest in good quality hardware that will last for a long time.

What’s the best options for me?

India Best compact Smartphone

Pixel 10, samsung s25,s26,iphone 16,17

Hey,I'm 24 years old guy from India. I'm currently using moto g45 before that i used redmi 9a, so now you know what kind of smartphone user iam and I have never bought a new smartphones, all of them were used ones.

So now I'm thinking of getting a new one which is compact and has less bloateares and ads with the best camera for the price.

But I'm really confused which one to choose because we pay 75-85k just for smartphone which has 256 gb storage and also either they lack perfomance or something else,I know there is no perfect phones but we pay this much and should we adapt to phone ?

Heard that all these three brands has battery drain and heating issues.Or should I go with oppo reno 15pro mini it's 512 gb with 64k

India Confused between flagship phones

Country - India

Coming from a Oneplus 8 (2019), I want to switch to a flagship phone, but really confused on what to buy and what is actually a good value.

My main criteria is Great cameras (especially for little baby's photos), compactness (cannot have anything more than 6.4-6.5"). Ideally I would like to get a 512GB variant.

Phones I am considering:

  1. Z Fold7: Love the slim phone, and the option to have a secondary big screen when needed for office work, meetings, etc. (I am a manager in an IT firm). Concerned about camera quality in comparison to others, shutter speed, durability and exorbitant repair costs. Maybe I can get one during the BBD for 1.2 lakhs, or can think of getting from Dubai for same amount.

  2. Pixel 11/11 Pro: Camera feedback I have seen is great, especially with Magic Capture which should be awesome for kid's photos. Then Stock Android is a plus, coming after loving the OnePlus 8. Biggest concern is price. 11Pro for 1.3 lakhs doesn't seem a great value phone compared to others. Other concerns are bulky phone, too much AI gimmick.

  3. Xiaomi 17: Honestly, everything I have read or watched is great, and the value for a 512GB seems extraordinary - I may get this for ~72k. Biggest concerns I have found out are cameras, buggy software and service quality, but in my city, I have not been able to use it in person because no store has a demo unit.

Please help guys, what should I go forward with. Any noteworthy points I may be missing, or should consider to finalize. I am planning to buy during the BBD/GIF sales next month.

India Which phone to consider under 60K ?

Country: India

Planning to buy a new phone during BBD. Budget is around 60K INR. Priorities are,

  1. Camera should be good for both photos and videos. Not expecting iPhone level video capabilities.

  2. Software experience: would like to have clean android - not necessity, but don't want my phone full of ads and random crashes/bugs

  3. Battery life - should last a day during normal usage - 4-6 hours.

  4. Performance can be decent as i don't do gaming but should support occasional normal gaming.

Initially i was considering iPhone 17 but there is no chance of it coming anywhere near. Still hoping for 16 pro to come near 60k but chances are less.

Having said that, I have shortlisted following phones,

  1. Pixel 10

  2. S25

  3. Vivo x200T - 256 or 512 whichever gets available

X200T clearly better on spec sheet but not sure is it having good software experience, my only concern is regarding bloatwares and random bugs.

Between S25 and Pixel 10, leaning towards Pixel 10 primarily due to camera and battery.

Exicited to see all the suggestions or feedback from owner of these devices.

Open to other device suggestions too.

india S25fe or oneplus 13

I am a student currently using iphone 14 plus….i am thinking of changing my phone and i am fed up with ios..

And i keep changing phones for every 3 to 4 years so spending 70-80k seems ridiculous for me. So i am thinking of buying samsung galaxy s25fe but i think it might not be able to handle the ai tasks 3-4 years from now due to 8gb ram and exynos 2400 processor. But i like the oneui of samsung.

On the other hand I also like oneplus 13 all the hardware seems like it can handle the tasks after 3 years but with oneplus rumours of shutting down in india from bloomberg and color os replacing oxygen os …..what should i do??

India Worried About OnePlus Future Due to Rumors

I recently switched from iPhone to Android, specifically the OnePlus 13. Using the OnePlus 13 feels really good overall, but I haven't been able to enjoy it fully for many days now because I'm under a lot of psychological pressure. There are constant rumors and negative talks popping up one after another.

It all started with this YouTuber named GemKBH, who bashes OnePlus almost every day and says bad things about the brand. The funny part is, his own daily driver is still a OnePlus phone. How hilarious is that?

Now the big question is, what will actually happen to OnePlus in the future? A lot of people are saying the brand is going downhill or shutting down operations in many places. Why doesn't OnePlus release a clear official statement about all this? OnePlus India did say earlier that everything is fine, but that was a long time ago. Meanwhile, there are reports of OnePlus employees resigning and joining other companies, or the brand shifting focus back to China. Many OnePlus employees are apparently looking for jobs elsewhere right now, so I'm really confused about what's going on.

Is there any authentic source or reliable information about the future of OnePlus? Will they continue operating globally and keep supporting their fan base? I heard that the OnePlus 16 might be coming around October or November. But with all these rumors, will it even get released properly? For those of us using the OnePlus 13 to 15, will we still get software updates in the future?

It seems like we just have to wait patiently for some official statement, but what will happen next? What about long-term updates and support? If something goes wrong, we might need to visit service centers, but the uncertainty is killing me. What's the actual future of OnePlus?

If the brand becomes China-only, then there's no real point in buying these phones anymore, because Chinese phones often come with various restrictions and hassles. I was thinking of upgrading from the OnePlus 13 to the 15 soon, but now I'm not sure what to do. I just want unbiased, correct information from authentic sources about what will happen to OnePlus going forward. If anyone has reliable details, please share. Thanks.

India [India] Need a phone under ₹20,000. Help me break down the best options right now.

Placed a budget cap of 20k and looking for the best possible spec mix.

Budget: Max ₹20,000 INR

Screen: 120Hz refresh rate, AMOLED preferred.

Internals: Decent processing power for long-term usage, 128GB+ storage, 6GB/8GB RAM.

Battery: Must easily last a full day of heavy use. Fast charging is a big plus.

Camera: Clean primary sensor (Sony LYT or similar preferred over high-megapixel trash sensors).

What is the consensus on the sub right now for the absolute king of this price segment? Open to all brands except heavily bloated UIs.

india suggest midrange phones w least bloatware pls

hi, im looking to a buy a phone in the upcoming festival sale on amazon or flipkart. i had redmi note 9 phone w me for a good 5-6 years, and it has been quite a decent phone if ive to be really honest.

i'm looking to buy a phone which has minimal bloatware since that has been my major concern w redmi. i had heard of nothing phones, but they are undeliverable at my location (or any other location) for some reason. in fact, i am also unable to find nothing 3 and 3a models.

budget is somewhere around 25k rupees/260$ (max 30k rupees/315$), can somebody recommend me a phone in this range? all i want is as least bloatware as possible, a decent camera, good battery life. i dont do heavy gaming also. i'd really like a long-lasting phone tho like the current one.

thanks!

edit: for people suggest nothing phone, trust me, ive been eyeing them for months bc they have been out of stock for god knows how long. while they obv would be my first preference, i think i'd also want to have some backup.

india Mobile Phone Suggestion Please

Can anyone suggest a smartphone for me?

I’m currently using a OnePlus Nord 3 Lite, and I’m confused between the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, iPhone 17 (base model), and OPPO Find X9 Pro.

I’m pretty confused because I’ve heard some negative/mixed reviews about the S25 Ultra’s camera and battery life. On the other hand, the OPPO seems to have a really good camera and battery life, but I’m not sure about its long-term reliability and longevity.

I’ve also heard that the iPhone 17 is a good deal, but I’m not sure if I’m ready to switch to iOS. Even though I use a Mac, I’ve been an Android user for a long time, so I don’t really know if I’m ready to make the switch.

I’m a film student, I’m looking for:

  • A really good camera, for both photos and videos.
  • Good battery life
  • Strong performance
  • A smooth experience for long-term use

Even though I am film student I won't use my phone for shooting that much.

I will buy the mobile in india, and will go to Dubai in few weeks for studies.

So, Which one would you recommend, and why?

India S22 Ultra - Need to upgrade

Requirements:

Storage: 1TB or more (less is fine if SD Card exists). 2TB, if possible, is the dream phone.

Excellent battery and camera, no complex usage but need it to be good

IOS or Android: Been using Android only for 10 years. Willing to switch to IOS if it's worth it. Willing to pay the premium IOS charges just because it's IOS which is something I was never willing to do in the past. But yeah otherwise sticking to Android and switching only if nothing here fulfills my requirements.

Features: Ability to run heavy games like Genshin Impact and Red Dead Redemption 2 decently well. My S22 Ultra 1TB was so perfect. But it's been 4.5 years and this device has lost a lot of its strength.

Longevity: I don't want to ever buy a new phone again. Since that's not actually possible, I want to feel like I really used the hell out of it.

Budget: 2000+ USD. It's a LOT but I personally use my phone for everything - all basic uses, gaming, studying, everything. To me, getting the best possible product in the market for the item that takes up such a significant part of my everyday activities is very worth it.

Location: I'm in India. Planning to go abroad next year for my graduate studies. But buying now in India.

Any advice is appreciated!

India Best camera phone under ₹80k in India?

Looking for a phone with a camera better comparable to most iphones, mainly for Pinteresty aesthetic photos like portraits, outfits, cafés and travel. I’m not a photographer, so I want something that takes great photos with minimal editing.

What would you recommend under ₹80k?

India Best phone under ₹30,000 for my brother? He plays BGMI for hours.

My younger brother has ₹30,000 saved up for a phone. BGMI is what he plays. Weekends he starts after lunch and is still at it three or four hours later. Weekdays he only gets one quick round in after work, mostly CODM. He's using the phone he bought with his first salary and it can't handle those afternoons any more. Towards the end he might as well not be there.

Budget: ₹30,000, can stretch a bit. India. All he wants is a phone that stays smooth right through one of those afternoons.

I can't get any of that off a spec sheet. The one phone I have actually played that long on is my own, and it cost well over his budget, so it was never in the running for him. It's a realme GT 8 Pro.

So whatever you'd put him on, name it and tell me what it's like three or four hours in. He wants to order this month, so I'd rather have two names than a list to go and research.

India Guys help me choose a flagship

Guys, I am currently on an iphone 13 but the battery life is bad and it’s getting laggy when doing cpu/gpu intensive tasks. Also heatsup like crazy.

I am from India btw

I don’t wanna get the 17pro/max right now but waiting for 18 pro/max seems too much.

Two options I am looking at are the Oppo find X9 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 512 gb. Both are priced almost same.

Camera is not the main concern for me, but would definitely love to pick the better one.
Performance is actually my greatest concern as I will use it for games and some other cpu heavy tasks. Battery is important too.

The third option is to wait for iphone 18pro/max but going by the leaks there isnt much update to the battery or design.

What do you think I should go with?

India I need an android phone for my wife. Around 25k - 30k ($250)

Okay so the thing is my wife's current phone is a POCO X2. It is still going. But the buttons on it has literally died. Also the 64GB storage is becoming a pain. She has around only 1GB almost all the time.

I did a lot of research and came to the conclusion that it's a bad time to buy a mobile. But there is no other way.

She mostly uses the phone for calls, social media and watching videos. I will list out what I think she would need.

  1. Good battery backup. At least one full day.
  2. Storage - if I can get 256GB. Not sure this is possible in current situation
  3. Performance - decent. No gaming whatsoever. So RAM I think 8GB is enough? What do you guys think?
  4. Camera - again decent is enough.

So far what I am considering now

  1. Samsung a36
  2. Realme P4 pro

No Motorola please. Bad history with moto.

Before she used to have a Samsung M31s and loved it. Mainly the AMOLED display. After it accidentally died(fell down screen dead) I gave her the Poco.

Please give me some options at this price range.

She usually keeps a phone until it dies

Note: I'm from India and would appreciate if you could suggest some phones that are available here. Thank you.

Also Dont want Xiaomi phones due to ads. Don't want any phones that show ads that I can't disable.

India [Buying Advice] S25 Ultra vs iQOO 15 vs OnePlus 15

I'm from India and I'm planning to buy a new flagship during the upcoming Flipkart Big Billion Days (BBD) sale.

My budget is around ₹70,000, and I can stretch it to ₹75,000 maximum if the phone is worth it.

My current priority list is:

1. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
2. iQOO 15
3. OnePlus 15

I'm not really looking for the phone with the highest benchmark score or the most features on paper. My biggest priority is reliability and long-term ownership.

I want to buy one phone and ideally use it for 4–5 years without major problems.

I'm currently using an iQOO 7, which I've been using for almost 5 years. I've actually had a very good experience with it. Performance has been great and it has been a reliable phone overall. But now the battery has degraded significantly, and I'm starting to notice some physical/build-related wear and tear because of its age.

So this time, I'm more concerned about how the phone will hold up after 2–4 years, rather than just how good it is on day one.

I know all three phones have very good specifications, but I'm trying to understand which one is actually the safest choice for long-term ownership.

I'm especially interested in real owners' experiences, not just spec-sheet comparisons.
