I’m an Eagles fan through and through. Football has generally been the only sport I watch or follow besides boxing.

Now growing up my parents used to take me to a ton of Yankees games at the old stadium and a bit at the new one. Even though I didn’t really understand what was going on I have really nice memories of the games and I have my old ticket stubs and the ball my parents got me at my first game. So that stadium and the team have a special place in my heart. I also do love Derek Jeter

Now Cam Schlittler is actually an alum and pitched for my university. He was there my freshman and sophomore years.

Because of this I actually got pretty into the Yankees this season and it has been amazing to watch.

My question is this

Is it okay that I’m an Eagles fan AND a Yankees fan?

I fall into the Aaron Boone category of a Yankee fan that it is also an Eagles fan. After the shit I’ve had to watch on the field the past couple weeks, I’m gonna really need the Yankees to get it together this week to for my own sanity. They saved my week last week sweeping the Red Sox, time to do it again. Plus I’m going to game 3 this week so it would be nice for the team to wake up this week.

Well, one trade with the Dodgers didn’t go according to plan. Yikes.
