MINKAH FITZPATRICK

i see this come up every year when we start to do bad but then gets forgotten about as the offseason hype builds and the first few weeks are played out, but I've said this consistently for probably 7 years now, as I know some of you have as well.

Woody Johnson needs to sell the team. He needs to sell the jets before we are ever going to be good and see any real, positive change. It hasn't just been a few bad years where we can root out the problem and start over. It has been 15 going on 16 years of terrible hires, terrible picks, and most importantly abysmal football. When an organization is this bad, for this long, it can really only be blamed on the owner. He is the only person who has been there for it all, and he is the 'leader'.

Clearly the organization is not run as an NFL org should be run. It goes top down. The culture starts with the owner, and clearly Woody cannot get it done. Players who leave even say the culture here is the worst, and when they go to other teams they realize how night and day the difference is. It's embarrassing, and really sad because as fans we are helpless. Not to mention that BS with his grandkids in the locker room, and the madden ratings from a couple years ago.

BUT, we are not powerless. We can be loud and persistent with what we want. This should be the #1 thing us as fans should be screaming from the top of our lungs. F the draft picks, F the coaching fires and hires. We've had it all. We've had top picks, traded for great players, etc. My point is, none of this has ever led to any success. The one constant is Woody Johnson, and he MUST sell the team. Until this happens, we unfortunately will not see any real, long-term success.

Did Drew Brees and the other guy on fox piss anyone else off when they started talking about how the defense did “all they could,” and actually played a solid game. They didn’t force a single punt all game, despite them starting like 3 drives behind their own 10 yard line with a backup qb. Our d-line got physically moved back every play, their rbs usually got a couple yards before contact it seemed. Our edge guys also couldn’t get any pressure, and our corners can only cover for so long. Gave up 500 yards. Awful defensive game. 12 penalties don’t help either.

I thought our Offensive Line would be better.

Demario Davis has not aged.

Our pass rush/secondary is still bad.

Geno has good games and terrible games as expected.

Our Special Teams is not as good as last year.

Were bored on the sidelines, looking for ways to stay warm. Look up the interview, players and media yucking it up at jets expense. I know its wash, rinse repeat but when we fire Glenn no more unproven co ordinators. Just look across met life and see the difference a proven coach can make.

Hey guys, I miss watching the jets games with other jets fans. I’m not sure if there are any Jets fans here in Gwinnett county in GA. I’ve recently moved here and would love to find some jets fans to watch the games with. Unfortunately I am in the Lawrenceville/Grayson area, and haven’t found any great places. If anyone knows any, or if we can get a few of us together for games that would be awesome.

Figured it’s worth a shot asking here.

Even IF we make a playoff run, next year Grampa Geno Smith will turn like 33 years old. We need young talent at QB.

“We fought hard!” “Caleb is out so at least we’ll be competitive!”

I doubted those comments and got downvotes.

Guess what our 2 previous losses COMBINED were by 10 points. This loss? ELEVEN. And it would be more if the bears weren’t running out the clock

Any recs to watch jets game tomorrow in Dublin?

Heard there’s a great population of jets fans here, any help specific spots to watch the game?

The Jets’ next QB could be playing on your TV this weekend!

Use this thread to break down this week’s college football games, track the QBs who could be on the Jets’ radar, and start figuring out who might be the best fit for Gang Green next season.

Who are you watching? Who’s rising? And who should the Jets stay away from?
