Had a guy yell at us one day for this was a one way lane just big enough for a car. They entered into the lane going the wrong way. Got out and started yelling at me and the other two cars behind me because we wouldn't move out of the way. The person sits there yelling at the rop of there lungs. Eventually a cop showed up they still refuse to leave. Cop called tow truck had them towed and left.

I told a story once about a funny thing my 12 year old niece said and got some loser saying I made it up. Like kids can't make jokes or something? Idk. Obviously people do make shit up online but these people who act like everything is a lie are ridiculous. I can't help but think their lives must be incredibly boring if they can't even imagine anything strange or interesting or funny or just worth repeating to other people ever happening.

I had a friend who is bipolar and had bad swings sometimes even on medication. She’d ask me all the time if how she was perceiving things was the way I was perceiving things or if she’s just being crazy. She wasn’t confident probably from a bunch of misreading peoples intent and stuff before.

It's funny because their username indicates they clearly believe in things that won't ever happen (fantasy). However, they're adamant that a perfectly plausible story never happened. I was trying to turn onto a road to a delivery while driving a tractor trailer combination, and there was a mini van blocking my entrance. I had my blinker on, but couldn't go in until they moved or went. Problem was, they were trying to turn left in front of me and I was blocking their ability to see the rest of oncoming traffic. I sat there for a good 5 minutes with them staring at me and laughing while an enormous line built up behind me. It was just them the entire time, I motioned for them to back up. They motioned no, and that I should back up. I had to eventually put my truck right in front of them and lay on the horn for them to move, the lady driving the van gave me the finger. People are dumb.

Going to say not always on this. The bigger vehicle has the responsibility to make sure that it can complete its maneuver without causing a collision. Too many trucks have failed to navigate a turn or left their lane during a curve. They’re risking other people and setting themselves up for more issues because it is not usually just one tight turn. If you are having that much trouble keeping your lane, your route planning is bad.

Where I live the roads are bizarrely narrow, like they *look* like they should be one way streets but they aren't. For normal sized cars, if you get all the way to the side you can actually have two lanes of traffic, but you'd have to get way farther over than you'd usually be comfortable with
All locals seem to understand this, you can tell who's lived here for a while and is used to it
but every now and then you get someone driving down the middle of the road like it's a one way, and then they seem to just lose their shit when I drive along and I'm like idk man this road **is** big enough for the two of us, you just need to move over. So many people get so upset about it
And on a tangent, a lot of reactions are really funny, you'll have people that will just full on pull off every time another car comes by. And even though that's funny, it's also really dangerous if you don't know wtf they're doing, because they're fully pulled off so now there's enough room for two lanes of traffic, except they think they're pulling off to allow for *one* lane of traffic. I don't know if I'm explaining that right but the end of the story is there's a lot of times I'll be driving down the road, passing someone I think has pulled off to the side and then they'll dart back into traffic nearly hitting me
(and obviously if there's a big truck or a bus or something on the street, you really do have to just fully pull off or sometimes even just back up and take another street)

I don't know if this is Seattle, but it sounds like Seattle. Some streets allow parking on both sides, and you can barely fit a single car through... Yet it's technically two lanes/traffic coming in both directions. You have to pull off and wait until it clears before you go through.

What you describe is what I see in parking lots every fucking day. Cars just driving down the middle of a two-way parking lane and driver becoming visibly angry because another car has the audacity to be coming the other way and they have to move over ever so slightly (though still taking up way more than they should).

Yonks ago a guy parked in the middle of a two way street waiting for his girlfriend to come out of some shop. He could have moved over a couple of feet and everyone would have been happy despite one lane being blocked.
Someone got out of their car to reason with him and he just sat stone faced smoking a cigarette. The person reasoning with him never raised his voice or seemed visibly angry but cold cocked the driver. Then pulled him out and laid him on the sidewalk.
The speed and precision were amazing. The car got moved and everyone drove on. I sometimes wonder if there was any aftermath.

I get to drive vehicles with lights and sirens at work. I'm not a cop or anything close. I can't drive on the road and use them to pass red lights, but I can move traffic when necessary for my job.
One way street, dude pulls out and turns the wrong way. I'm in an F-250, I swing it side on, block the entire street and wait for I shit you not 4 whole minutes before homie gets the idea that that's not allowed. Funniest minutes of work in my life. I'm in there kackling and just shaking my head "nah" and the guy is mad because he can't follow his friend that I couldn't cut off in time.

I don't think he has the spotlight anymore but he used to use it to blind the shit out of anybody driving behind him with their brights on in the middle of the night. He'd point it at an angle right into his side mirror so it'd bounce off and hit them straight in the eyes. Then he'd cackle when they'd hit the brakes and dim their lights. I can't believe he never got shot for that.

When I was a teenager I did, it was a very satisfying way to enrage people we had already made angry. Honestly I was usually in the wrong, but one time a guy threatened to rip my head off for driving too fast in his neighborhood, and then tried to rip off my side view mirror and as I gunned it away we blew the air horn out the window at him and I don't think I've ever laughed harder in my life.
