What does masculinity have to do with anything here? It's just guys vibing. What an odd comment.

Edit: I'm genuinely asking. It's like the equivalent of seeing a guy and commenting something like: "Wow, check out that guy's breathing.". It's odd. There's a reason why I chose to describe it as odd. It means it's unusual, the comment is unusual.
