I don’t know the laws in the UK, what even is this road? Is it supposed to be a one way street or do they just not bother to plan infrastructure?

Well these roads are from times before cars and they haven’t done major infrastructure change to fix it due to existing buildings etc. so they have a lot of weird small roads like this

What do you expect to happen, tearing down a residential neighbourhood for a highway because some lady couldn't follow the rules of a one way road?

The buildings are there, the streets are narrow, and that's fine.

All I did was give an explanation why they have tiny one way roads and why they aren’t going to change. I never said they should. I have no clue why you replied with that comment. I never said anything to the contrary
