Hopefully some of you will get me. I love the pristine award winning dahlias grown from tubers, but darn it I loved growing florets seeds sooo much! They were so much prettier than other dahlia seedlings I grew this year. And I love the walking into the garden and seeing something new and interesting. Like a chocolate box! If anyone has seeds recommendations please let me know.

I got this tuber but can’t read it at all..it’s next to CB which is cornel bronze. It’s the orange flower in front of the cornel bronze. What is it???

It’s that time of year! I have too many tubers and I don’t want to store. (Highly recommend reading my previous posts on how to store.).

Here’s what you get. Cost is $250 and includes shipping.

Once TEN boxes are sold, I will leave the pics, but remove payment info / turn off comments.

I am in East Lansing, Michigan. Digging begins mid October. Shipping is Priority Mail; Large Box. Photos are from current stock.

This is my first year and I didn’t label where I planted what and I want to label them for next year.

My son is 5 1/2y. He loves beautiful things, and particularly flowers. Last year he wanted to plant dahlias, roses, hyacinth, and sunflowers. Here they are 🥰

EDIT: I don’t r member the name of any variety of any of these flowers.

Strange coloring on this singular petal. Unsure variety

Im not sure if im going totally crazy but i have this very light pink flower head growing out of my Thomas Edisons (which have otherwise all been the same shade of purple ish hot pink). Is it some sort of variation because of the cooler weather? maybe i planted something here im not remembering. I truly don’t know at this point

I’m enjoying a bouquet a day now. Do beautiful. I hate to see the season end. Kelvin Floodlight in this one too.

I thought I was so careful labeling my grow bags, labeled the clumps as I took them out of the ground, but somehow messed up! I thought this was a mystery dahlia given to me with no label, but there's something written there. What is it?!

Kinda obsessed with Hollyhill Serenity, so I gave her a few extra shots 😂

Came across this dahlia while doing a bit of gardening today. I’ve never seen this before. Admittedly only been dahlia growing a couple years.

AI suggests it could be a spontaneous mutation/sport, but I’m wondering if anyone here can confirm whether that’s actually what I’m looking at?

It’s the only flower on the plant that looks like this, the rest are all pink.

Thanks

Here is a photo of my Labyrinth
Dahlia blooming in October now.

Many people know the Keukenhof in The Netherlands for its tulip extravaganza, pulling in millions of visitors each spring.

But these pics are from this sunny weekend in the adjacent Keukenhof castle, which specializes in dahlia gardens, with dozens and dozens of cultivars on public display. No crowds, free entry… 🧘🏻

I planted tubers late and made the mistake of going with one of the “Dutch grown” companies, but I’m just thrilled to have my first flower! Time will tell if this is “My Love” mislabel or an unnamed variety. We’ve got one more coming, which I hope is Clair Obscure.

I will miss the summer, bring on Christmas 🎄

I was told mystique. In most photos I’d say that dahlia seems more pink but a few photos are more purple

Thoughts?
