He doesn't really, it just feels like he tries so hard to be impartial that he's often overly critical of the Braves. He's been more of a fan before when he's appeared on our home broadcasts once or twice.

Greg McElroy will do that when calling Alabama games. Some ex players will try almost too hard to be critical of their home team especially national broadcasters. Some will let their bias fly though, cough cough Votto.

I grew up my whole life a Braves fan. When he started calling games it took me so off guard how much it felt/ feels like he has a grudge of some sort against the Braves. I don't know why, but i see it.

I just wanted to point out that the Doyer Stadium soundcrew decided to play the riff from Iron Maiden's "Run to the Hills" on the speakers then the organ immediately before this RBI double.
For those that dont know, the song is about the conflict brought by the European settlers, from the perspective of the Natives. It is an interesting song choice when playing the Braves 😅

It's not derived from any tribe's actual chant, is a racist caricature, and the braves stole it from FSU when Seminoles were never even in Atlanta, which was inhabited by Cherokees instead.

First off, the relevance of the third point is negated by the first point. And the fact that it's not derived from any tribe's actual chant doesn't really tend to support or go against it being racist either way.
"is a racist caricature" is unsupported--it's a chant used by fans to sound intimidating and support their teams. The only connection to native americans is through the pre-existing mascots, names, etc. of the teams, which, at least for the Atlanta Braves, originated out of an admiration for native american culture. The name came from Tammany Hall, which admired Native American culture (the name "Tammany" came from a Lenape chief who was regarded as a folk hero in the United States) and adopted native american names and titles out of a desire to create an independent American identity.
If you want to call that cultural appropriation, fine, but it was very clearly not intended to be a mockery.

If it’s not racist then why did the braves stop giving out foam tomahawks? And why have there been numerous protests by native Americans against it? I just want to hear you say what you really think instead of this phony “it’s not actually Native American, a bunch of racist frat kids from FSU created the chant that just happened to emulate a native war chant, while just so happening to imitate a racist motion associated with natives” utter garbage.
It’s not hard to admit it’s a racist chant and anyone who defends it is defending racism. You can still cheer for the braves, no one’s gonna kill you
