Identification Helicopter flyover question
Hello was curious if anyone could provide anyone information about this 4 helicopter flyover yesterday. I apologize for the subpar video as you can tell it was captured on my dash cam and they seemed a lot closer from my view than it appears on film.
This 4 helicopter convey was spotted going north on interstate 75 heading into Cincinnati. 2 appeared Apache-ish shape and 2 were shorter and had a more rounded nose, all four were pained a metallic blueish grey.
Was this some sort of military drill?
Deleted then reposted as I noticed I did not attach video

Discussion Never got above 9800 ft.
Yesterdays flight from BNA to ATL never got above 9800 feet and then we suddenly got turned around diverted back to BNA even though we were closer to ATL at that point. Any ideas why? Seems like with a maintenance/pressurization issue you'd want to get to the nearest airport.

Identification What’s happening here?
This was taken at a high school football game this weekend. Didn’t really seem coordinated or part of the game experience like an intentional flyover. What are these two planes and we are they so close like this? Thanks!

Discussion First time on a A350-900 (Passenger)
As an avgeek, nothing could be more interesting than flying aboard an A350-900 in 2026. Having heard oodles of praises from fellow travellers and fellow avgeeks “You can’t miss this!”; I was excited to experience the A350-900 first hand on Emirates.
At first glance, the A350 comes across a very modern Airbus. The black-painted “goggles” around the cockpit instantly gives the 350 a ‘cool’ and modern look. Once inside, you’ll be greeted with a wide body having two aisles. By the time you find your seat and settle down, it’s time to take off. While rolling down the runway for V1, you barely feel pushed back into your seat. The aircraft is speeding and fast. But you don’t feel it. After V2 and when the wheels are off, you’d expect the familiar stomach-dropping feeling. But you won’t or at least it would be mild at best. Immediately after takeoff, the AoA seems very gentle.
The best bits of this flight as a passenger are the IFE. Not only does it feature a completely new UI, but also new features. My favorite is BYOD. You can pair your headphones/wireless earphones with the IFE through Bluetooth. I, for one, find the headphones supplied during the flight to be very uncomfortable even after a short while. The audio fidelity of those don’t help either.
So, for me, using my Airpods felt like a natural choice. Pairing it to the IFE was a breeze. I started playing the “Billions Club” playlist on Spotify. I started reading the news, and then it hit me.

The sound stage was wide. The instruments had a nice wide separation. The bass was tight. The vocals were crisp and I could feel the rasp in the voices. The song I was listening to was Chandelier by Sia. And until the end of the flight, I found myself enjoying track after track, like I do in my living room. The BT DAC inside the IFE is genuinely impressive!

Question How likely will Boeing green-light the 777-10 once the 777-9 enters service in 2027?
With the finish line in sight for 777X certification and EK pushing for a larger variant, is it more likely than not that Boeing will eventually commit to a 777-10?

Question Garmin glass cockpit display has dual day/night mode?
I was going through these photos I took aboard a HarbourAir flight from Seattle to Vancouver on a Grand Caravan, and I noticed that in some of the photos the glass cockpit has its usual colour display mode, and in some it has a red-on-black display mode. I've assumed that it has a dual mode, and is always displaying both, but the colour display is brighter and persistence-of-vision makes it so you can't really see the red-on-black display. Seems reasonable.
Except I can't find any evidence of this feature. And even random photos I can find online of a glass cockpit in flight during the night show it as a bright glaring colour display, so surely there's more to it than this? What did I see?
[For context: the two photos were taken mere seconds apart with a mirrorless camera, my guess is that there was a sort of refresh rate rolling shutter effect which make it possible to see the two displays in different exposures]

PlaneSpotting 747 and a380
A 747 ended up photobombing my attempt at taking a good photo of the a380. I got a couple good 747 photos too. Ive seen an a380 in person but never a 747. Love them both!
