I guessed with the sun in my face and I happened to catch all 4 helicopters in today's flyover at Solider Field

Sorry for the bad quality

What did you guys gift yourselves for your 1000th hour of flight?
Don’t want to get something I’d normally get myself, or something I “need”
Just something awesome to commemorate my accomplishment for myself.
As many of you know it is hard to hit that 4th digit and a big deal for the first time to have felt like you “made it as a pilot” as silly and narcissistic as that sounds…

Thoughts?

I walked along side it in a parade but no one told me what it was and I figured I'd ask you guys.

The legendary 160th SOAR "Night Stalkers" brought serious firepower and precision flying to Tampa during the famous Battle of the Bay capability demonstration at SOF Week 2026.

This video features incredible MH-60M Black Hawk helicopter action including: Low level tactical flying

-Special Operations assault demonstrations

-Live fire sequences

-Fast rope and extraction operations

Saw this Heli dropping something (possibly mobile generator) across the street

British Columbia Air Ambulance pilot took three passes before selecting the landing site. An accident involving a motorcyclist

Never mind my earlier thread. Work needs to be done and that's that. With that out of the way, is it easier to go with the title as opposed to using what little money earned as a beginner pilot towards a fixed residence like an apartment or, ughhhh, roommates?

Figure a mobile living situation is more appropriate for the early stages of this career. No real time for leisure or making friends outside of the required pleasantries.

I’m not a pilot so just asking.

this is the last one in a group of four, but weren't in a single file line. they flew over my house and this is the best clip i got out of my short video.
