Is it a dealbreaker if someone you’re dating lives with their parents?
Not me, I live on my own
Let’s say the person you are dating is over 25-35 years old

Why do people think that countries like Japan/Germany/Netherlands are "paradises for autistic people?"
I don't know where people get this idea. Don't "introvert" countries like Japan have a lot more unspoken social rules in every single interaction? The thing that neurodivergent people are famously bad with?

Why do terrorists/bad guys...etc never target CDCs (bombings, taking over for money...etc)? Is it because of what could be released to the world?
Out of all the places, bad people seem to attack or take over. Why not target a CDC? Or is it because even bad people know destroying a CDC could release god knows what on humanity? Or is it simply no one thinks about it. By bad people, I guess in this cases, terrorists who want to hurt America.

Where can I get 2 letter of references for school?
My school is granting 50k+ for post secondary but for a chance you need 2 or more letter of references for your portfolio and I don't know where to get them.
They have to be outside family obviously, outside of school and by the start of January 2027.
It's making me a bit anxious since I wanna get it done quickly but not sure where to start.
I'm 13 and in Canada if that's needed.
Edit: Clarity

Are we expected as adults to not fart in public?
I work in an office and just realised that no one else ever farts in the office. Accidentally let one rip that was loud and everyone stared at me.
Is it an unspoken expectation that we don’t fart in public as adults?

Is it weird for me to go trick or treating by myself as a 15 year old because I have no one to go with?☹️☹️☹️
The title pretty much says all the information you need to know. I’m a 15 year old girl going as Cupid, and I really wanna go trick or treating for Halloween, but I don’t have anyone to go with. Is it weird for me to go alone? Sorry if this is a stupid question. Any advice is appreciated, thank you.

How should I let the agency know?
I spoke with the agency a couple of weeks ago about working with them, and now I’m ready to move forward. How should I message them about it?

Is part of the reason friends are devalued, because (at least in first world countries), life is pretty easy?
Idk probably a stupid thought. But just something I was thinking about.
Is part of the reason friends are becoming further and further devalued.. because our lives are relatively comfortable? We don’t really have to rely on anybody anymore. You aren’t really put through genuine life-or-death situations with people.
Like, people in the military reportedly grow strong bonds with each other because of the consistent stressful situations they are put in.

Can I drink coffee while drunk to pull an all nighter?
I’m not hammered but I’m pretty buzzed and tired. I gotta be up in 4 hours and if I fall asleep I’ll feel like shit when I wake up. Would it be a bad idea to drink coffee in order to stay up through the night. I’m not a coffee drinker mind you

Did Ukraine fail the 2023 counteroffensive because of Bakhmut?
Bakhmut was the city that both the Russian and Ukrainian fought so hard over and invested so much equipment and manpower. Ukrainian had 40000 to 80000 troops in the sector. Apparently the average lifespan in Bakhmut was 4 hours. They had to use professional soldiers fighting against Wagner prisoner and thugs/murders so Putin or Russia didn’t lose as much if you compare to Ukraine.

am i supposed to wash new clothes before wearing them or is that overkill
i picked up a few shirts yesterday and now i cannot stop thinking about whether they are actually clean. one tag says to wash before first use, another one does not mention it at all, and the internet gives me every answer from never to always. my gut says it is probably safe either way, but i keep wondering if there is some obvious step everyone else knows about. do most people just toss them in the wash right away or is this one of those things nobody really bothers with?

Why does everybody act like IT as a career is over, when it's mostly just code-related jobs beeing replaced by AI?
Hi,
I've been working for a few years in network and security related jobs in the IT sector in Europe, and from what i have seen the business opportunities are there, and the market is relatively okay. Yes, times were better during the covid pandemic, but things are still relatively good.
However, i see a ton of posts on the internet, and even hear my own friends (who do not work in the It) claiming that there is some kind of job apocalypse in the market and that it is basically over (even since before i started working). While things were better, from my experience it's mostly developers who are affected by the AI boom and are being laid off, and have problems with finding jobs.
Tldr: Is it only software developers losing jobs to AI, or am I just living in a bubble and have been extremely lucky?

Is there a country that has never been invaded or occupied by anyone in its entire history? Or has everyone been conquered at some point?
I was trying to think of one and couldn't. Is there a real answer, or does it depend on how you count?
