My friend (shown here modeling her new garb) bought this vintage attire and we’re wondering what it is technically/specifically/etc…? It’s not quite a coat. Not quite a dress. It has fur and velvet, and it’s fully fully open at the bottom in the front. And it is has this weird tie inside, but we’re not sure what that’s for either, since it doesn’t go around her frame—and she is quite petite. Feels like it goes over a dress for some Dickensian character. We think it’s from the early 1900’s

I’ve had this in a drawer for many years and have no clue what it is. It looks like some motorcycle/ hoverboard toy. What is it?

The other side has no details, it’s about 2 1/2 feet wide. 4 feet high and 3 inches thick. The pegs on the sides and the door knocker are stumping us about what it could be/come from.

These were not there when I went to bed, and in the morning I found them abandoned on the ground next to my car. I know what all the items are, but not sure what they were ment to do in combination, if anything.

Trying to figure out what this dog toy is. It is a second hand dog toy, so we never saw it before the state it’s currently in, but it is definitely a favorite. Just curious if anyone knows what it was in case a replacement is needed in the future! I think it kind of looks like a smooshed frog with its tongue sticking out, it has a squeaker in the middle of the body as well.

Edit ; It's rubbery and the stem seems to be more underground. It also has small wavey notches on the inside that break easy. It's extremely moist and loosely smells like the outside of a peach or apricot (in my opinion)

I’m located in South Eastern Wisconsin.

I have noticed a slightly chemical smell in a single cabinet in my apartment since moving in January 2025.

Any dishes placed in this cabinet will take on this same smell within a few hours.

None of the other cabinets cause this smell on the other dishes.

I have rinsed the inside of the cabinet with hot water and with plain vinegar.

The dishes come out of the dishwasher with ZERO smell. I run with rinse aid and sometimes without. Same result.

I use Finish detergent pods.

I have hand washed with the same result.

The kicker is I recognize this smell from the storage room in a commercial kitchen I ran years ago.

Any ideas? Can I get the cabinet tested for anything?

Edit: I keep my mugs and cups in the affected cabinet and a quick rinse with tap water will remove the smell from the dishes so I've been doing that prior to use

This object was found floating in Gulf of Finland outside Helsinki and resulted in an hours-long closure of a fairway.

This is the only published photo of the object. It was later retrieved from the sea. The police have described object as "not an explosive", metallic, barrel-shaped, 40 cm (15.7 in) in size (presumably the diameter).

The object is presumed to be a part originating from an old shipwreck. Some people claim it is a searchlight, others claim it is a compressed air cylinder from a submarine. Any ideas here?
