Question Would you guys be concerned if your Pc is under a mini split
Unfortunately there is not much I can do and I don’t really have any other options to move it. It also can’t go on the floor because I have a 1 year old that may knock it down. Normally I wouldn’t be concerned but I know mini splits/ACs can cause water leakage over time if something is wrong. Not sure if I’m overthinking it but is anyone else in the same situation where there pc has to be there. Is there anything I should do for precaution?

News/Article RAM Supply Set to Worsen, Says Micron, as CEO Celebrates ‘Much Higher’ Prices.
theregister.comMemory-maker Micron has warned that RAM shortages will persist into 2028, and perhaps beyond.
Speaking on the company’s FY 2026 earnings call, CEO and company chair Sanjay Mehrotra reminded investors that Micron has already sold most of the memory it will make next year and said customers will pay “much higher prices” than they shelled out this year.
“In calendar 2027 as well as 2028, we see demand exceeding supply,” he added. “In fact, we see greater tightness in the industry in 2027 and in 2028 versus 2026. Overall, supply-demand environment is only getting tighter.”
“We do not have line of sight to when supply and demand will return to balance.”

Meme/Macro Is this a good desktop for my first homelab
Hi guys, I saw this PC in my local thrift store. Is this a good config for about $56? I don't want to buy a bad CPU for my first homelab but I'm on a budget. My tech friend told me that the i4 was the perfect balance between the i3 and i5, so I was pretty excited to see an i4 listed on the tag.

Discussion The first Cheese LAN was a success!
Held in July in Green Bay, WI with 28 attendees. We consumed 16 liters of Sun Drop slushy over the course of the event, while playing a mix of old/new titles. There was a Rocket League tournament, as well as Cheese Rolling competition, and a mystery game (Sewer Rave), which all had prizes. Throughout the evening, we did surprise giveaways called Cheese Time, where the admins threw various types of packaged cheese around the room. We also gave out free energy drinks at night to keep everyone juiced. The AC was set to a comfortable 70F and I'm pleased to say, no one was stinky.
This was the first "big" LAN in the area in over 12 years. This area used to host 100+ person LAN's (KI LAN & GBLAN) with cash tournaments that people flew in for. This event is the continuation of that group, and some of the original admins were in attendance. We put a lot into this, including buying a full 2.5G network, a power breakout panel, and characters/mascots designed by an artist out of Toronto. Seeing Steam downloads ripping locally over 1.6GB/s was novel. Special shout out to the supporters who helped finance the equipment!
We're definitely hosting another event in July of 2027 and possibly one this winter. CheeseLAN.com and join the discord if you're interested :-D

Discussion Anyone still rocking old Logitech gaming keyboards?
I looked in my local pc shop yesterday and was impressed by the sheer number of different gaming keyboards on the market. Most are these bare mini units.
I'm still using my 15 year old land barge G510. Back when it was either Logitech or Microsoft..
Everything still just works perfectly.

Screenshot A RX 9070 XT is about five dollars cheaper than a RTX 5060 TI 16GB. This is outrageous. Do not buy Nvidia unless you absolutely need to.
