Before you say “delete some games,” trust me, I’m playing all 6 games I have installed, so that’s not an option. The other stuff is work-related, so I don’t have much of a choice there either. And you’d find me dead before you’d see me putting a hard drive in my PC in this day and age. o7 -400$ I guess...

FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

wtf is this shit

Installed the emulator (cemu), set up all settings i wanted and just ... started the game running at around 90-100 fps without any problems. 32:9 dwqhd resolution.

God I love the pcmasterrace.

I'd been getting messages to upgrade to Windows 11 for the past month or two now, and each time, I decline. It's gotten to the point that I get random, frequent pop_ups asking to update, and "install update" options pop up right next to the shutdown/restart uptions.

Well, I made the mistake of going to take a shower with my PC on. Half an hour later, I come back tothis. Windows had automatically started installing the update. Now I'm sitting here staring at the Start button and all the open programs center-justified on the task bar and wondering what idiot thought that was a good idea.

I found this review for Dead by Daylight posted a few hours ago. I really wish this person well. The "Product refunded" really nails the coffin

best of luck to my samsung 990 pro 2tb x2

Like I’ve always capped my computers to 60fps and never thought anything about it. I don’t play competitive games so I don’t think it matters much.

Just a couple of pictures to show you my bedroom in the year 2000/2001 summer. The best times in my opinion! Well the 90s and the 80s too.

we are NOT spending money on you, youtube!

I don't know much about pcs but I have a feeling this isn't normal

Stop bashing ESC, F2 or DEL like a 90's maniac to get into UEFI based BIOS.

Instead ceate yourself a shortcut (ie. on desktop) with right click > new > shortcut

C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe /r /fw /t 10

/r - restart
/fw - will drop you to EUFI
/t (number of seconds after which OS triggers a restart. You can use "0" for instant reboot)

Once you create a shortcut (desktop, downloads, etc), open it's properties and under "Advanced" tick a checkbox for "Run As Administrator". You can also change the icon of the shortcut (I found this microchip to be fitting - part of Windows default icon pack.

Optionally, right click on the shortcut > pin to start.

-- update --

Thanks everyone for pointing out typos; post cleaned up a bit (especially EUFI instead of UEFI, old habit from Europa Universalis games).

I have responded in another comment that those that would prefer something similar but for "Windows Advanced Startup Menu" can replace flag /fw with /o. Neat when you want to access safe mode or other aspects of WinRE (Recovery Environment) without MSCONFIG, holding SHIFT or modifying BCD.

C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe /r /o /t 10

Lastly, for Linux users, similar bash terminal command for restart to UEFI:

sudo systemctl reboot --firmware-setup
