HELP 5070ti oc/uv

2 profiles
@895mv 2900mhz (10% better perfomance than stock)
@1000mv 3180mhz (15% better perfomance than stock)

Both ultra stable

@895mv 20% more efficient than @1000mv

I don’t want to leave 5% perfomance to the table but i want the efficiency too 🀣😭 choose for me!!

Profile 1 and never think about it again

Do you see what is going here? Same to my head too. The other guys says MORE

You can't really feel the 5% difference in performance, but there's huge difference in power consumption, which means lower temperature for the GPU and other components and less noise aswell.

Longer lasting GPU!

Try in the middle? 950mv?

I always find the same two points and settle on the first. You leave a few FPS on the table but still get better than stock performance + lower power, heat and noise -- I care about those things, so profile 1 is my optimal config, but I understand why others don't and just want to maximize performance.

Also, in my experience, actual performance increase in games when pushing beyond ~2900 MHz is typically smaller than the figures you quote -- out of curiosity how did you measure performance ?

Steel nomad, timespy, cyberpunk benchmark, avg fps after 1 minute on the new game plague tale resonance. Everything was 4.5% to 5% difference

Did you try tuning XBAR or SYS with mVolt, xOCD or Hydra? You should be able to get around 4% more performance without increasing power draw, or roughly 4% better efficiency at the same power draw. You can also try pushing your VRAM beyond +3000. My 5070 Ti is stable at +5200 memory clock.

These are results are with mvolt+ with some different offsets on xbar and sys

Make 2 OC/UV profiles and pick the efficent one until you need the more powerful one? :S

Finally the voice of reason.

Got my 5070Ti (only) two months ago, it simply rips thru everything unless there's some whack thing (like C2077 path tracing or DLSS5 wrapper); for everything else it just stays undervolted and cool like cards from generations ago. If I really, really want to test extreme stuff, I let it go to 3100MHz/1020mV for like 2-3% extra performance; better than stock, yet still undervolted (but frankly not worth it).

Can you share the specs of your oc? I am in the process of finding similar two setups. So far 1020mv@3180mhz and 925mv@2900mhz what I have but both has a little potential to make them better. Also the low voltage versions can give me 27+ points/watt on SNomad, high ones can only 24p/watt or so

Neither. Overclock it more and try and hit 3300 πŸ˜‚

🀣 these 2 profiles took me days to find them. No more power left inside me for 3rd profile 🀣

Why do you need it to be efficient?

More performance always

profile 2, you're arleady undervolting anyways

What is nv-uv?

I just researched this software. It is pretty cool but no way my card is stable at 3200@975 😎

1000mv 3200 isnt stable, so 975 will be not stable too
