The plane, 2 pilots, and 2 medical staff are Canadian. The patient and a family member are American. It flew from Canada to Bermuda to pick them up as a private charter, and disappeared near Boston, the destination. No politics please, but there were no American planes available? All down the East Coast of the US?

Who cares where the planes are from? Is this supposed to insinuate if it were American planes flown by American pilots this wouldn’t have happened? If yes, that’s an absurdly ridiculous take and your ignorance is on full display.

Because this thread is full of people whining about the state of Aviation in the US.

To be fair, people are complaining about the state of the US generally, because it’s a dumpster fire. If you don’t know that, you’re living under a rock or contributing to its down fall. I’m going to guess it’s the latter.

I'm very well aware that the US is a dumpster fire. I live in the real world where facts matter, and other than the destination, the US is not really involved in this. I now suspect that the patient and family were Bemudans or tourists.

Well in that case, the FACT is they chose a Canadian company for this. Full stop. Any other surmising is in bad faith, nor relevant.

Probably just wondering why a Canadian plane was taking American patients to an american hospital from a place that is south of mainland america rather than an american one.

Well, the most obvious answer would be it’s likely more financially viable given the lack of health care in the US. Insurance wise, the costs for a Canadian medical team are almost certainly less than they would be from an American company…because the American system is based on exploitation, not health care.

If you’ve got private plane medical transport money then finances aren’t a factor.

I think you’re a bit out of your depth of understanding how these things work.

The American couples insurance company chartered this plane on their behalf, they (the American insurance company) chose to use a non-American company. The most obvious reason for that is cost, not for the patient but for the insurance company.

Boston was the destination. 🤦

Yes? And? My point still stands and yours still makes no sense - unless of course your insinuation is “Canada Bad. America Good.”

Yup that's exactly what people think, maybe fix that shit show country and president so people will trust you again 🤷🏻‍♂️ simple as that, how hard is that to realize😂 no one trusts the US anymore in anyway, even with something like this, you all brought this on yourselves
