I live in NYC and have all my life. The thing about this guy is that he really seems like he doesn't rest. Every single day he's meeting people where they're at, filming multiple social media posts for information, spreading awareness, and making announcements, as well as making actual change. His communication and transparency is pretty unmatched.
People legit have hope that if they make some sort of complaint or ask, whether it be a pothole to be filled or some city-wide improvement, that he'll look into it, which should be the bare minimum for a public servant but Mamdani being someone who people have faith in enough to do that says a lot.
He's getting A LOT done and communicating A LOT. Relative to other mayors at least. I'm convinced this dude does not rest. He's on his feet 8-12+ hours a day doing something. At the very least, it's very obvious he cares about the city and its people. Compared to Cuomo and Adams at least...

Assuming he wants to stay in politics, the natural seat for him to go for would be Gillibrand’s senate seat in 2030 or NY governor in 2030.
