To never see again in your camera roll until you need something, and by a weeks time it’s too late to post that shit so it stays there, in your cloud photo gallery, forever haunting you.

It took me too long to realize I don’t look at any photos I took.
Now, when I’m a tourist I just enjoy shit with my eyeballs and not worry about my phone

couldn't agree moreee, once you stop worrying about getting the perfect photo, you actually experience the place so much more

OP is doing the same as the person.

So is the guy behind OP taking a pic to post to mildlyinfuriating about the guy that stopped to take a picture of the person that stopped to take a picture

You mean the guy who took a pic of what was physically blocking the line in front on him? I guess he could have shoved her out of the way, but he's not really the one holding up the line

She read it, she just doesn't care "it's only me taking a photo, so it's doesn't matter"

Ran into something like this when my husband and I visited Yaquina Head Lighthouse on our honeymoon. We waited 30 minutes for a group to finish when the posted sign said each group was supposed to be in and out in 10 minutes (and our group was in and out in that time when we finally got to take a turn).

But. But. I want a picture from here and I’m entitled. I don’t know why I’m entitled, I just know that I am.

Worried about artificial intelligence when natural stupidity is the real threat to society.

I thought it was widely known that printed signage doesn’t apply to illiterates.

Good thing you included the paper in your photo so you could read it later

Man you took multiple photos too? You really are invested in making sure the public follows the rules. Just like the police, rules for thee, not for me eh?

Found the lady

Nah man, its just about being a functional human. Can you give me a good reason as to why you wouldn't ask her to move? Cause as far as i can tell, the only reason not to is either pride or social shyness. If its pride, it can go fuck itself, if its shyness, then great this is exposure therapy :)

u/mrsf16 5h ago
Because most “functional humans” should have spatial awareness and be mindful of those around them, especially in small spaces.
If they can’t read or be bothered to follow simple rules that are clearly posted in the area multiple times, I doubt they’d be pleasant to walk behind for the rest of the tour if I said something.
I’m not wasting my energy or time on that.

Yeah you are right they should. And im sure you have had more than your fair share of moments where your spatial awareness is not 100%. Maybe you slept wrong, maybe you are just having an off day, maybe you are balancing 6 things at once, who knows. But rather than flame them on the internet, a 5 sec conversation could achieve so much more. It would A) get you your end goal B) potentially cause this person to realize their spatial awareness is off today and to monitor it better C) you would potentially have made a friend
Instead you A) didnt get your objective achieved(her moving out of your way) B) her lack of awareness is now the next guys problem C) you've gone and gotten yourself all worked up about something that is not worth it at all. Your failure to help better the world in this moment (no matter how small) is a negative on the world at large rather than a positive

I’m sorry my post triggered you. I think you may be overthinking.. this is a simple social observation I decided to share on [r/mildlyinfuriating](r/mildlyinfuriating). Maybe you could crosspost this to [r/extremelyinfuriating](r/extremelyinfuriating) and get a good deal of karma from how shitty my behavior is over calling out a person who will never have their personal life affected negatively over this photo. Hope your day gets better.

Man i love this cop out of argument redditors love. No ma'am my day is going just fine, and your post didnt trigger me. You just dont like that im calling out your equally shitty behavior and you cant handle that

u/BrokenImmersion 4h ago
I love the clear edit you did to change your tone. And using the concerned reddit thing is beyond dumb. Lady you gotta rethink your outlook on life. Not everything is so negative, maybe im just trying to do my part to try and better the world.
Oh and btw, your literacy is terrible. I wasn't calling you out for calling someone out, I was calling you out because you DIDNT call them out, you were a coward and took a picture instead so you can bully them in a space where they cant reciprocate
