Ok. But why is this even a thing? Why do we want AI to hypothesize what could be out of frame and append it to our photos? What’s the use case here?

Probably to extend the image out of frame and append it to the photo. Why are we doing anything besides eating shitting and sleeping?

Because sometimes you have a picture in the wrong aspect ratio.
