Yes, they're pushing and advancing it hard. I hate it. With the newest MacOS/iOS you're forced to have the huge Apple Intelligence model on your phone which can take a fair bit of space. No way to delete it other than weird tricks like changing Siri to Hebrew or something.

It's a trick I saw in the Apple subreddit and it seemed to be quite popular so I assume it works
