I didn't realize the feet needed to be covered. She will slip-slide all over those kitten heel slides. But, I guess you never know where Tarantino may be lurking. 🫣😂

I am not a Muslim, but my guess is that there probably is no universal rule about it and that it probably varies with regional/cultural difference and personal preference.

You are correct about regional difference, but it is indeed the standard practice for women to cover their feet in public in the majority of places with an Islamic dress code.

I saw plenty of cute sandals in Qatar from muslimahs that wear abaya and even niqab! But the abaya tends to go down so low that it's more of like a peekaboo thing. Maybe I'm misremembering. I also loved the variance in abaya fashion!
