[FS] [US-NC] Synology DS3622XS+ 12-bay NAS

Note: bumping my previous post from a few days ago - dropped the price and included option to purchase the NAS without upgrades.

Hi all,

Looking to sell my Synology DS3622XS+ NAS – It’s in great condition and has been running without any issues since I bought it a few years ago. I’ve since migrated to a custom NAS (rack mounted with 24 bays), so no longer need the Synology. 

Details:

• Model: DiskStation DS3622XS+ (see Synology website for detailed specs)
• Upgrades: there are a few hardware upgrades that I made and am looking to include with the device:
  • RAM upgrade from 16 GB to 48 GB (DDR4-2666) 
    • 2x 8GB (original RAM) + 2x 16GB (Arch D4ES01-16G).
    • Note: 48 GB is the max supported
  • Added Synology E10M20-T1 card, which adds 1x 10G RJ45 port + 2x M.2 slots. 
    • Installed primarily for the M.2 slots (NAS has 2 on board 10G ports already so the extra one on the card isn’t super helpful)
  • 2x 1T Firecuda 530 M.2 installed on the card above, used for write cache 
    • As you can tell from the SMART data (see timestamps), these definitely have been put to good use..should still be plenty of life left in them however
  • Rear 120mm fans upgraded to beQuiet! Silent Wings 4 (will send the stock fans in the box just in case you need them) 
  • Noise dampening inside the chassis (nothing fancy, just some velcro strips added around the edges of each drive bay..easy to remove if desired)

Price:

• $2,300 $2,100 OBO - feel free to message me if you had a different price in mind and we can try to work something out
• $1,600 OBO for the NAS without the extra RAM, PCIe card, M.2 drives, or fan upgrades
  • Happy to negotiate a price for the device with some of the upgrades if desired as well.
• Price includes free shipping via UPS or FedEx (and will be fully insured)
• Will be shipped in original box/packaging
• Payment via PayPal invoice
