And then in Skyrim nobody even acknowledges that you're a demigod and try and attack you for walking down the road like you're some roving trader

And that's why skyrim does an interesting thing with the chosen one trope. I Mean word would spread about you, but they have no idea what the dragon born looks like. And it's so funny and fun because it feels like a mugger has just hit the jackpot of bad days, and you get to play the "so, you have chosen death" card.

Maybe it is that farmers turn to be a Chosen One, did you ever thi…. and the farmer is dead..

Maybe the farmer thought he was in Dungeon Siege.
