Is that not literally what KCD does...? Obviously its not taking this mysical supernaturnal route where you're basically god, but you are still very much made out to be the chosen one, nothing happens without you lol

It kinda just comes with the genre; RPG = Roleplaying Game. You live out a fictional character's story.
