LARD FINALLY ATE
After worrying sickly i gave some worms and lard finally ate. they also shed before eating so it could be because of that. they also slept one eye open and that was cute ^_- and dug in to the dirt for the first time!! got a closer look on lard thumb and i think it might be a boy i dont know im bad at identifying. im just happy lard is doing better

Lard needs a water dish to pool in and some sort of humidifier. Typically a frog will bury itself in the ground when dehydrated when there is no fresh water access and the air is not moist enough. They dont like it, but it is better than dying of dehydration. Frogs do not drink water, instead they absorb it through thier skin. Having a pool of water let's them soak up some water and a humid environment helps keep them comfortable.

The little pot has some water in it but i guess im going to put another water place for now. the dish i ordered hasn’t arrived yet 😢 tanks for the advice
