Just let people merge, even if they're being dicks. Too many hot-heads with dashcams who don't want to practice defensive driving and would rather speed up or have a collision in order to prove that they're right.

Jesus this. This guy is on a motorcycle just deer in the headlights pretty much. Car vs motorcycle you are going to lose. Just let her in. You're both dickheads

Car vs motorcycle you are going to lose.

Except that you are so wrong. How do I know this? Because the "car" didn't win and the "motorcycle" did.

Some people in this thread keep saying that the motorcyclist could have died, but he didn't. It's not like they were going at 100 mph.

And if he had died then the woman in the car would have had to deal with more consequences than a couple of tickets.

They are not both dickheads. The only dickheads I can see, besides the woman driver, are some of the people in this thread with their dickhead opinions.

Just let her in.

This is not bad advise. But you can't say that anyone who is not willing to give up his "rights" is a dickhead.

If they get in a collision of course he is going to lose. The dead dont care if they're right. They're dead. He falls off his bike when they colide gets run over by her or the car behind her. Easily could happen because this dickhead isn't driving defensively. He has far more to lose than her.

Not all motorcycle accidents lead to death. This is an exaggeration.

I do see your point though. It is more dangerous to ride a bike that it is to drive a car even without any road rage incidents. I don't own a motorcycle for this reason.

I just don't agree that the guy should just bend over and take it. I also don't think that he is a dickhead.

Him not bending over is the problem. Looking at it in that sense.

Which brings me back to no it is not an exaggeration it's a risk/reward analysis. He is risking his life by being stubborn not only by not letting her in but making it worse trying to have a conversation in traffic and getting heated about it not paying attention to other drivers all to just be right. It's not logical.
