Beginning of the video she’s not, she speeds up to cut off. I’m sure she had enough room behind the motorcycle to merge safely. But alive > being right. Motorcyclist is also an idiot. This is the equivalent of a compact sedan fighting with a F150 over a lane.

This is not F1 which having half a car in front gives you the preference. The one who is merging/switching lanes need to do it in a free spot, not in a place that is occupied by another vehicle.

That said, the biker should have avoided this anyway.

Exactly I'm not saying he's wrong. But pushing to be right when almost certain death is an option, and relying on your camera, is not the way.

my god, your not even joking. at 0:03 you can see they already passed them. at 0:08 she has like ~4+ feet on him already.

i hope your not old enough to vote. if so, you need to pay back your state for the money they spent on your education. everyday we are closer to idiocracy.

He is absolutely right. It's called a zipper merge. Car in front has the lead- left or right it doesn't really matter, if the car is in the left lane that has the lead, then the right lane care moves into the left lane, third car in the merge should be from the left lane, then the fourth car is from the right lane, so it's always left, right, left, right, left, right going into the now single lane. Order can also be reversed, right, left, right, left like the video.

Beginning of the video shows the truck as the lead car (right), then OP (left) and then the Karen speeding up to try to beat the biker which would've made it right left right left which isn't how a zipper merge works. The karen should've stayed behind and merged behind the biker.

The biggest issue, it shows the Karen clearly speeding up to beat the biker. If the Karen was well ahead of the biker, then the biker would be at fault

It doesn't MATTER if he's right. The camera won't save you. Drive defensively in this situation, and accept the outcome of idiots and enjoy that you are still alive.
