Just let people merge, even if they're being dicks. Too many hot-heads with dashcams who don't want to practice defensive driving and would rather speed up or have a collision in order to prove that they're right.

and thats how they learn they cand do whatever the fuck they want and even hit someone next time. no! if I am keeping my speed and you have space to either merge in front or behind me, fuck off and merge propperly

At least if you get killed, you were in the right and that will teach them. As much as I agree that these people are annoying, being in the right isn’t gonna protect you

Not everyone has the same amount of will to live as you do

That's only a flex if you're an edgy 12 year old.

I was being sarcastic about that other redditor who is happy to crash to "teach them a lesson"

At least if next time she kills someone because. " thath how i drive" it wont be me. great logic. and at that speed not even a bug would be killed

Criticising defensive driving is a very stupid take on your part. But he good on you if you’re willing to have a crash for the sake of being right. Your brain probably got damaged already

You are not the authority of the road. It is not your responsibility to teach anyone any lessons. You endanger others, not help them, by having these sort of pissing matches while driving.

so hit the breaks or let them hit me or someone else. ya, it's gonna be a NO from me

Lmao especially on a motorcycle, yes, hit the BRAKES and reduce the risk of being smeared on the pavement. You are suggesting endangering yourself to maybe, possibly, teach a random stranger a lesson. Very dangerous driving advice.

Edit: lmao try to control your emotions on the road better than you do on the internet

There are a lot of graves that hold people who were technically correct.

I would usually agree with you, but the bike did not give her enough space to merge without being way too close to the truck. She was in front on the zipper merge so the bike should have let her in or at least not closed up the space between himself and the truck.
Maybe she should have realized the bike was going to be a dick and merged behind him. Merging into his was also bad, but the bike also closed up the merge space on her so he caused the problem and she found a bad way out of it.

I dont know how it is in the US but in EU if you are merging/changing lanes you do not have right of passage. so the biker could have zig zagged, drive on a wheel, who cares. it woud still be his lane and he would have priority

I agree he mostly had right of way. But intentionally blocking a reasonable merge is still an annoying move. It is mostly using up all the merge space that was there at the beginning of the video is what I find annoying.
The way he closed up the place she could merge into at the time the merge lane was going away could make him partially at fault in places that assign percentages. She would definitely be over 60% at fault through still.
