Unfortunately, yes. About 3-5% of shootings are done by law enforcement, the other ~60,000 per year are done by random citizens.

It's not a strictly American thing. Do this enough and people will beat the shit out of you. Do it in the wrong neighborhood anywhere in on the world and they'll kill you as a reflex.

There is no training required and no license required either. They can just pick up a weapon at any store.

America's a cool place and all, I love their military aviation history and respect them for their men's brave actions in World War 2. But it's almost certainly a terrible country to live in, cuz imagine having to fear for your life every day in school, which doesn't even give good education or nutritious food.

Probably not arrested but there are plenty of misdemeanors on display here to pick from. To be fair this is based on Australian laws, but there are similar ones in America

The police don’t need an excuse to arrest you. They’re required by law, but the law has no enforcement mechanism—police officers can’t be sued because SCOTUS invented Qualified Immunity out of thin air.

Arrested, yes. Incarcerated nah. They dont need to goto prison but a night in jail may help. If you need to see a judge for speeding to prove you’re not a public cunt, this guy may have to as well. Really depends on locality and the people who compromise the community.
