Neon Ichiban Finally Lets You Buy Comics In the App

https://www.weirdcitymedia.com/neon-ichiban-comics-buy-button/

Who else has been holding off on jumping back into digital comics until this happened?

Besides still needing some key comic publishers on the platform, this now looks and feels like Comixology again.

Nah, I mean, yeah, competition is good. But I will not spend any money on DRMed comics ever again. Comixology was a cautionary tale. If Ichiban gets big enough, of course they will enshitify the experience and sell out in the end.

They do offer DRM-free purchases. It's up to the publisher, but I think most of the big ones opting in, like Image, are instead on Sweet Shop at the moment.

Sweet Shop seems like the better option. I just want to read for a decent price and get money to the creators. Not whatever Neon is trying to do with collectibles.
