Here’s a spot

Encountered this vehicle parked blocking traffic, unattended, on a very busy beach Saturday. I was on a bike and had to deal with a car in my lane going around this vehicle. Almost hit me but it was going slow. So i turned around and parked to see what was going on. People were looking in the car and eventually this angry gal emerged from a hiding place in the back. Soon the driver came along, aggressive and angry that people couldn’t mind their own business. If I’m almost hit by a car it’s my biz. The man in the pic is not the driver

I don’t know what you’re complaining about. They very clearly are out of the red no parking zone. Geesh, you people are never happy. 😉

He just had to run quickly inside to see if there was a Pokémon restock. I understand. 😉

1st Rule of Parking: Will it fit?

2nd rule of Parking: There are no other Rules.

They’re blocking a lane in the intersection too. They’re being a spherical menace here.

I think there is a Nissan Reddit dedicated for this type of behavior

  1. That car has already crashed into someone else. That bumper is new and unpainted. In most repairs, the bumpers are also painted before the customer gets the car back. The bumper remains unpainted to reduce out of pocket costs. This probably means, they hit someone/another car/an object, and didn’t involve any insurance. Either lack of insurance or from a hit and run.

  2. The “dealership paper plate” has not been legal since 2019. No dealer ever lets you leave the lot with one. The sparkly red plate frame means that the owner purposely chose not to put a legal plate on. This is to avoid accountability.

  3. That Corona paper plate means these folks are probably from riverside county California… and honestly, this checks out. The IE is a region full of suburban single family houses and fast food driver thrus. Folks are used to almost never parking far and walking. They rather block an intersection than walk a couple of blocks.

A handicap plaque does not entitle the driver to park just anywhere.

Unless his disability is blindness.

Of course they have a disabled placard. I'm betting the driver isn’t actually disabled.

They get a pass if they are handicap. handicap people park close and without obstructing wheelchair.

No, you still need to find a parking spot. I will pull up somewhere temporarily (usually a loading zone) and put my blinkers on to get my son and his wheelchair in/out of the car if there are no spaces. But the car can't stay there.
