I played this game every summer for three years in high school. To play it again while it looks like this, I am blown away. Yes there are things that need to be fixed but...man just looks at these screenshots straight out of the game.

Just shy of 20 hours in this playthrough so far and these are some snapshots I've taken in the last few hours of playing. Will definitively be spending a lot of time in photo mode.

Discussion Triss has always got me invested in playing Witcher 3

I played this game in 2016 when it first came out. I remember preferring Triss and always wanting to romance Triss while completely rejecting Yen. 10 years, later apparently I haven't changed a bit.

Help! Quest: Wild at Heart - Werewolf can’t be killed

I’m just about convinced that this is a bug because what the hell? I’m on the switch 2 remaster and this werewolf basically IMMEDIATELY regenerates each time it’s hit to the point where his HP bar doesn’t even flinch.

Please keep in mind I have looked this issue up and every other response either says I’m not levelled enough or I just need to hit harder. Doesn’t make much sense because I’m at the same level the quest suggests (level 7). Having just killed a shrieker, a griffin and a couple of wraiths I think my weapons are quite decent. And yes I have used igni, Axii and all the other spells to no avail.

What am I missing here??

Discussion Stutter Fix

To all those people on PC playing the TW3 remastered and suffering from micro stutters and drops of FPS in each new scene , region or action - you guys can give a look into this mod. I am sharing the link. My micro stutters have become virtually zero. I hope you guys get your smooth experience too. A big thumbs up for the OG modder , btw.

The Witcher 3 Remastered – PS5 – Version 5.000.200
Captured on a PS5 Slim Digital / Performance mode / Gamma: middle setting / No mods of course.

I'm really glad that CD Projekt is still releasing major updates for The Witcher 3 after all these years, and for free on top of that. But I'm still running into quite a few issues that I didn't have before, and I regret not waiting before installing the update.

Among other things, these videos show:
- Shadows suddenly appearing/disappearing.
- Objects floating in mid-air.
- Sometimes an incredibly long loading time for items to appear in the merchant's inventory.
- Darkness in broad daylight, to the point where I have to use a torch!

Discussion Man I'm so jealous of people who are enjoying the new Remastered look.

• Upvotes

Glad people are enjoying it and having fun, but man, I’m just not getting the vibe from these new visuals. I’ve tried pretty much everything...turned off bloom, disabled Path Tracing since my hardware can’t handle it and toggled Ray Tracing on and off but I still can’t get the old Witcher 3 NextGen look.

To me, the land textures look way too glossy during sunny days, the foliage is overly bright (leaves are light green glow look) and distant trees just stay completely static even when the wind is howling, no pun intended. The LoD also looks noticeably brighter, especially in areas where the far distance isn’t covered by trees or objects. Pop ins are still there too, and the grass doesn’t react when Geralt moves through it.

Maybe it’s just me, but the overall lighting, foliage, LoD and environmental effects just don’t feel right compared to the NextGen version which imo has the best look compared all three versions of Witcher 3.

Help! Witcher Equipments level up when moved from stash to inventory.

Hi guys, had a problem with these swords when I try to take them from the stash, they got leveled up that I can't equip, as you see if I return it to the stash doesn't change anything either. What's the problem with this? Would be so glad if I get help.

Screenshot I discovered a bit randomly that I had an old version of the game installed

Post image

I could boot it up, but neither GOG nor Steam said I had installed it - and the folder was only 24gb. Apparently, somehow, this very old version of game is still on my computer. I last played it in 2023 and never got far.

So, should I play that or install the new Remastered edition?
