You can only say that if nothing bad happens. But sometimes innocent people die because of stupid kids having fun.

Would you say that if they'd slammed into someone driving their family somewhere? "Oh, they're just stupid kids having fun"?

then someone would have gotten hurt, which is an alternate reality to what actually happened.

Like, i wouldn't say "at least no one turned into a turtle" if the video showed someone turning into a turtle. I would probably say, "wow holy shit that guy turned into a turtle." but in reality that did not happen, so i did not say that.

But they didn't, the response was for this specific situation. If it ended tragic it's a different situation. Also having a little fun in an open empty road is very useful, assuming there's nothing around you to hit, because you learn how to control the vehicle when you lose traction. Countless accidents happen because when there's a little rain and people have no idea how to control a car in wet.
