Hello everyone,

There a wealth of stash mods out there that exist that modify the stash in various ways but none of them are truly searchable or infinite which is why I wanted to create one single option that everyone can use without having conflicting stash mods (in case you want to co-op).

Some of you in the past might have used StashNinja or FNIStash for an external option to store all your item without mods to expand your in-game stash. I think StashNinja is gone and FNIStash didn't have the features and UI I hoped it would have.

So using them as a foundation, I have created the Torchlight 2 Item Assistant where you can store all your items, consumables, spells and more. It is effectively an infinite stash with several options to search through your collection and transfer items to and fro from your shared stash.

Some features of the tool:

• Separate collections for vanilla and modded saves.
• Filter items by type i.e armors, weapons, accessories, and more.
• Selecting set names on items shows you all items belong to that set in your collection.
• Advanced search feature for you to search using name, item level, player level, item properties like damage and stats on items as well.
• Duplicates of any item stack onto the same tile and you can compare and transfer them one by one or transfer them all. This applies to eyes, skulls, embers as well.
• Export and import this collection for your own backup. Also the ability to configure the item assistant's save location. It defaults to the same location as your normal and modded saves.

Just download the exe from the link and get started right away. Just make sure to backup your saves before giving it a go to be safe. I have already tested on my save of 1k items (vanilla) and it works great so far.

Title. I'm 70 hours into my first berserker build, am now running dual claws because I got a legendary from the gambler. I got started into the Synergies mod last week and I've been farming a legendary armor set so I can get started on the higher tier raids. However, I'm planning to drop my legendary claws as soon as I switch to the new set as I'm currently getting like 200+ dex from my random equipment and that won't be the case with the new set, and I don't wanna spend points into dex just for the weapon since it doesn't really do anything else for a berserker. Because of this I've been into alternatives but I just can't seem to find any other legendary claw in the little documention that there is of the mod, as it stands it seems like my best option is straight up building another Iceshard Dominator

The quest says he lives on the third level of the mines. I've played through the entire game and still can't complete this quest.

What's in it

• Items: all 6,015, with affixes, sets, where they drop, gambler prices and 3D models
• Monsters: 807 entries with health/damage/armor at any level and difficulty, skills, resistances, models
• Class skills: 144 skills across the 4 classes, per-rank values and what each skill event actually does
• Quests: 101 quests and 108 NPCs, with rewards
• Transmutation recipes, pets (the 9 fish transformations compared side by side), and the raw DAT files if you want to dig
• Build planner: gear, affixes, enchants, sockets, skills and attributes, with a stat sheet and skill DPS. You can even drop in your .svb save and it rebuilds your character, pet included. The save is read in your browser and never uploaded. Builds can be shared as a link.

It's a side project, so there are surely mistakes. If a number looks off, there's a feedback page on the site, any feedback or suggestions are welcome.

I'm playing a lv80 berserker, right now I'm considering to change my main damage skill to Wolf Pack but once I make the switch what would even be the right stat to put my points on? Does Strength affect pure elemental damage weapons such as this one? If it does, is the weapon damage + crit damage better than raising Focus for elemental weapon damage + percentual elemental damage increase?

I finally found him!! I was so over soft resetting to try and find this lil guy I just gave up and decided to just play, and he randomly appeared in Vyrax’s Tower Floor 3!

For the folks just getting here I guess it’s important to note Borris the Stout - gives massive, permanent attribute stats (Strength, Dexterity, Focus, Vitality) directly to your gear!

Hello all. My wife and I are excited to start playing this gem.

I myself am a mod fan in general and I discovered a trove of mods for this great game.

Would you recommend us to install the mod pack essentials (wife like the necromancer class in video games) or some QoL mods like stash size and respec mods? Any other recommendations and/or advice ver welcomed.

After returning to TL2 after many years, I have found a need for a good, searchable, and easy to use item database. This already exists for GrimDawn in the form of grimtools and I wished to replicate this for TL2. Although TL2 item databases already exist with Dethguild and Alfgeir, I didn't quite find them to my taste but they did help me significantly with building my version.

So, I present to you the modern TL2DB

Some features of the item database website:

• Search all rarities of items: Normal, Rare, Unique, Legendary
• Sort by only sets and also search each set individually through a drop down
• Filter items by each item type including spells, socketables, fishes, potions etc
• All socketables displayed in tabular format for easy browsing and use
• Advanced Search option to filter by item lv, player lv, sockets, rarity, stat requirements, class and even better AFFIXES!! and a lot more filters!

The source code is available here with an option to host this yourself with cloudflare workers as I did. Feel free to host this for yourself in the event that my website is not active anymore.

Hello everyone,

I have a few questions about the game. I know it received a lot of backlash at launch (and still gets some shade), but I'd really appreciate honest, unbiased answers.

I’m a huge fan of isometric ARPGs like Diablo and the previous Torchlight games, which I’ve replayed countlessly. I also love mechs, but finding a solid mech-focused ARPG is tough. That’s why I’m considering picking up Torchlight 3—mainly to play as the Forge class.

Here are my questions:

How is the replayability? Past Torchlight games used procedurally generated maps. Is that still the case here? I don't mind a grind, as long as the layouts and enemy spawns shift between runs.

Current state of the game: Did the devs manage to fix most of the technical issues over time? Is it relatively bug-free now?

Honest rating: If you evaluate it purely as a standalone ARPG (setting aside the fact that it's a sequel to Torchlight 2), what score would you give it?

I got torchlight for free from epic games a few years ago, and it was my firs real dungeon crawling game, i played other games like it, but this was really good, but after a while i found it's just repeating, i played as the wearier class, but then was able to someone minims that fight for me and after a while it become boring.

awhile ago, I got torchlight 2 from epic games, and now i want to give it a try, so i install it, and found out it can have mods, so i searched for them (i didnt even finish the first quest) and omg i found this sub!!!

i thought it's an old game, or only few ppl play it every now and then just for nostalgia and cuz the graphic I thought it's kinda dead game.

anyway, the vibe of the game really awesome, i'm not really that much of an rpg player who can understand the best builds/stats for each class and so on, but just love to explore and hack and slash, i play albion online and other types of mmo games that also have similar experience, but not a single player one like this.

So could you give me some good mods that improve my experience of this game? I saw a lot of mods about the inventory/bag, and some others that add new class, but is there a thing for controls? something like auto run and Stop moving button and better map show (cuz i dont like the overlay thing) and such controls/ui?

She's 64 and understands isometric-game-progression. We also have beat the game together on Steam and she still plays it because it's her favorite isometric to play, this is wild!

I love Torchlight 2 because it's just a fun game. It's not overly complex, I don't need to memorize dozens of keyboard hot keys, I can play for 15 mins or two hours. I don't feel the need to invest hundreds of hours. I just pick it up, have fun, and put it away.

Are there similar games? I downloaded but haven't played Minecraft Dungeons but someone said that was very similar. It doesn't have to be "top down" or look like it but has to have the "spirit" of the game...if that makes any sense lol

Have a gem that causes acid rain sometimes on hit, and it seems to not be doing any damage to enemies? Is this just a waste of a gem slot or?

Manual setup

Edit the game settings file

1. Quit the game completely (it writes this file on exit and would overwrite your edit)
2. Open this file in a plain-text editor:Documents\My Games\Runic Games\Torchlight 2\local_settings.txtNo such file? Start the game once, then quit.
3. Find/Create the LOBBYHOST line and replace whatever follows the colon: tl2-mikuro-server-us.chr.moe
4. Leave the next line, LOBBYPORT :4549, untouched. Click an address to copy the whole line.
5. Save, close, and start the game

Just got a new PC two weeks ago and have been nailing down the hours in Torchlight 2.

Can you use mods and still get the Steam achievements?

Also how do you get friends in the game?

1) It took hundreds of hours, at least 200 hours were played after i got the max level with the only goal in mind is to get enough money. Currenly Steam shows i have short of 600 hours played;

2) Maps with more gold modifiers have no use, NG+ with 120 level locations bring a bit more money, which means a lot in a long run. If i can believe character selection screen, i got enough gold only at the end of NG+5 playthrough;

3) When i was picking gear, i was looking for anything with a gold multiplier no matter how shitty it is. But in hundreds of hours beating game over and over again i only met luck enchanter 2 times. At current moment my +gold bonuses come from:
- 44% from gear alone (ranging from +1% to +10% per piece);
- 69% from luck enchantments;
- 28% from lucky coin gems:
- 15% from treasure hunter passive.

4) Gear was so shitty i constantly was getting oneshot for hundreds of times (it's Elite difficulty with all enemies being 120lvl), follow the light quest was bane of my existance, burning ground attacks were more dangerous than traps as they ignore the energy shield and have enough DPS to kill you in less than half a second. All this gear is above the gold counter, doesn't really looks cool. As soon as i switched to my real gear, i didn't die even once and everything dies x3 times as fast. That's feels like a real reward.

5) For Trash Magnate i'm still 23k out of 50k items sold D:
I plan to set a macro that would rebuy and resell the same pair of inferior boots.

I 99% of times avoid modding when doing first run but I am not sure I am gonna replay this game so would you suggest mods? Specifically SynergiesMOD. Please also recommend other mods for QoL, more classes, and a bit of difficulty. Are mods able to play in coop if we have same mods installed? Gonna play with wife and a friend.

Hello! I've encountered a problem, when my character moves, the loot text become blurry. Has anyone else encountered this problem and found a way to fix it? I have the same problem for other games too, like Diablo 1 or 2, or Grim Dawn, its all the same. I've tried to play around with GPU settings and monitor settings, nothing seems to be working.

I’ve been trying out the cosmetic_slots.mod in Torchlight II. It works fine in single player, but when I play LAN with a friend the cosmetics don’t show up for anyone else. Each of us only sees our own character with cosmetics, even though we both have the mod installed.

From what I’ve read, the game only syncs “real” items (helmets, boots, etc.) across the network, while cosmetic slots are saved locally and never transmitted.

So I’m wondering:

• Is there any cosmetic mod that actually works in LAN multiplayer?
• Or has anyone found a simple (or not so simple) way to tweak an existing cosmetic mod so that it syncs properly?

I’m not super experienced with modding, so even a general direction or advice would help a lot. Thanks!
