That young girl was uncomfortable. It doesn’t matter if the older male was drunk or a lousy dancer or blind, SHE was uncomfortable. Her dad fixed her discomfort. HER father protected HER. HER father validated HER feelings with a small sidestep. She will forever remember this moment and always know who is in her corner. She will know who she can count on. Sometimes all it takes is a small sidestep to change their world.
Hard agree. You can see it all over her face. In terms of how her dad handled the situation, it does not matter what the other guy's intent was. His daughter needed help and he gave it. That's how you raise a child that will trust you when it counts.
