What is this mesmerising dance form? Besides the uncouth drunk dude, it’s very hypnotising

You didn't have to do line dancing in gym class.

Im assuming they aren’t from the US. I think it’s just us that had to learn line dancing in gym 😊

I grew up in New England and never once had to do line dancing at school. I did do the electric slide a few times at weddings, though.

Omg we had to do square dancing, line dancing & electric slide etc. I grew up in Jersey so it’s not even like I’m in the south haha

Could also be era. I grew up in the 90s at the height of the achey-breaky line dance craze.

I was thinking same too. I’m 80’s kid so maybe it was in a certain time frame

Omg really??? Idk why that’s so exciting to hear but for some reason it is! I wonder if any other countries did or if it’s just us 🤔

Line dancing, head over to your nearest country music bar and they’ll do it a zillion times. Also of note is the electric slide.

Cool! I live in Europe, but hope to move to USA soon. Looking forward to experiencing this. Is it part of a classical American experience?

It is for adults in the south and rural areas. I think we universally learned the electric slide and the Macarena in middle school, those are usually played at weddings and such and most adults get excited to participate in something they enjoy but haven’t done in years, it’s like riding a bike.
