This is why men stepping in to police other men is important. It doesn't have to be loud or flashy- that just embarrasses the victim- but shutting this shit down is super important. This behavior is very common and if, say, four or five of the nearby men saw his behavior and slipped in to keep him away from women and children he would cut that shit off so fast.
This little girl knows her dad will protect her and it won't become a scene. When she's older and someone hurts her- because it will happen- she can go to daddy and trust him not to fly off the handle.
Honestly I'm not seeing it, drunk nearly backs into the dad near the end of the clip. A+ to the dad stepping in and making sure his little girl felt safe without the need to force a confrontation.
It’s the exact moment that the man looked and noticed that the child had been replaced by a grown man. The motion is very slight, I can admit that. But it is very clear that his reflexes were very much intact and he redirected instantly. He’s not anywhere near as drunk as he’s pretending to be to get the attention that he’s trying to get from doing this. You’re right, he does continue to stagger afterwards. But I’m referring to that split second reaction.
ETA: it’s when there’s about 0:21-0:20 seconds left (the time on Reddit plays backwards)
You are pouring a lot of intention into a split second reaction where you can't even see his face. Maybe he's a pedo maybe he's a drunk guy that couldn't read the cues. I can't say one way or the other but I'm certain there isn't enough evidence in this video to make the statement you and others are making. Maybe on was there and had more context but in my experience OPs will use the title to get the highest engagement not necessarily the truest accounting of events.
If you don’t see it then you don’t see it. Many people do. OP, myself, many others here, many others on tiktok, etc. Regardless of if he’s creepy with a kid or not, it’s still cringe and gross. Some of us want to socialize in an environment where this is unacceptable. And when an event is considered “family-friendly” it’s expected that people won’t behave like this. Staggering and clamoring for attention is gross. It’s pathetic. And it seems to predominantly affect women, leading to their discomfort. But again, if you don’t see it then you don’t see it. The rest of us will continue to expect better and keep our social standards above floor level.
ETA: there are no cues to read. She is a child. She is not a young woman questionably flirting with some loser in a bar. She is a CHILD. She is not obligated to give him any social cues to back off. It’s literally the bare minimum standard to not come in physical contact with a child who you do not know.
Did you literally not watch the video? There was one single time where he may or may not have made contact, it's hard to tell. How do you turn that into "at least 4 times"? And nobody said nothing is happening, obviously it's rude to bump into someone.
And all the women in the thread have dealt with men like this nearly every time they go out where people are drinking. It’s just so gross and desperate.
And we dealt with them starting at the same age as this girl or even before. And men cannot cope because they see themselves in the mirror when they look at this video

You can actually see the moment the little girls heart is no longer in it. Madness
