Discussion This is a disaster waiting to happen.
The dog isn’t allowed to be around a toddler because he growls at her. I don’t get it. A family dog is supposed to get along with the whole family. Why are the parents concerned about why the dog “doesn’t like her”? What about the child’s safety?

I am a plumber with employees and we go into customers houses everyday. We get a lot of customers that say “don’t worry he is friendly” or “she doesn’t bite” “they just want to say hello”. I have been bitten by at least 6 dogs that just want to say hello. I have been bitten and the homeowner does nothing about it. Doesn’t even put the animal up.
I have two dogs and I am 95% sure they won’t bite someone but I treat them like I am 95% sure they will.
I am willing to take a risk with a dog but I will not ask my employees to. Please pet owners put your dogs away when you have a technician at your home. If they want to meet your dog they will ask.
