I think there's room in the market for a back to basics car company that takes out all this bs, goes back to crank windows and all that crap and sells new vehicles for an affordable cost with a good warranty.

It would probably crush today.

Edit: I got like 400 responses saying "slate" ok I get it you can stop

There are quality affordable Chinese EV’s that the USA government has blocked from being sold there. The USA is a corporate monopoly.

They did the same thing to phones.

That’s because the Chinese government forced its cell phone and modem manufacturers to put spy devices in the ones sold to Western countries. It’s actually pretty interesting if you read up on it but the cell phone ban was actually a good thing. Unless of course you like the Chinese spying on you and harvesting your data.

Better than the US spying on me with their social media and cookies an every site I visit.

Although I agree with the sentiment, in this case I would rather not have a Chinese spyware phone. Because then China and Google would have all my data.

If the Chinese actually cared they would just buy your data anyway

Definitely interesting but I think it kind of funny because my life is so boring. What would they be interested in? My grocery store trip?

Mapping the insides of non public places through gps tracking, then getting camera and sound feeds from phones in places they want to explore virtually
