Quite frankly, after quite a few Hollywood millionaires (like Jamie Fox) vilified him while ardently clinging to their hateful ignorance with the gleeful support of most of USA, I’m not surprised.

It’s not that I care what they say because they are centuries but when they use their massive platform to attack single people on the basis of not understanding their syndrome then I feel the need to counter their crap, be the voice reminding folk to check the source of to simply be a comment for people with Tourette’s to know not everyone thinks they mean what they’re symptoms make them do and say.

That's a disingenuous description of what happened. The majority of people reacting to the event realised that it he likely ticked it because he is aware it is such a horrible word. But his reasons for shouting the word did not really mean much for the black men on stage who had to continue hosting through it.
Blame can and should be placed on the editor who had plenty of time to edit out the interaction and contain the event before broadcasting. They had enough time to edit out "free Palestine" - they could have saved Davidson a lot of hassle, and didn't.

The Brits all knew about Tourette’s. The producers knew and let it happen anyway. The terminally online looking for clicks decided to not understand or take any context.
It was about the same level of analysis going on with Tropic Thunder is racist because of RDJ being in blackface.

To be more serious, both things can be true. He can have intended no harm and yet harm can still have been done. I think him wanting to protect himself from another potential nightmare is obviously the right thing to do. I wouldn't trust the editors/producers not to broadcast a tic after they failed last time
