Asky got new pads!

This is not a dig on Natalie Noury or Ted Ramey in anyway but I can’t help but feel robbed of a special part of watching the sharks win on NBCSN. The broadcast used to stay on the feed in the Tank right after the win. You would hear the crowd noise and feel the buzz through the screen. You would hear the 3 stars and watch the player interview right afterwards and it was very easy to ride the wave after a win and keep the energy high. Cutting straight to the post game after a huge OT win feels very going from a rowdy party straight into a library or something. Nothing against libraries, lol, or the post game! I just wished they would stay with the tank a bit longer. Rant over. And obviously what’s more important is the wins, but you know. Gold (or teal) plated problems. GO SHARRRRRRKS

Short video I caught at the game last night. Would’ve been incredible if they scored on this. These two are going to be fun to watch this season.

This was my first FAP. It was a college graduation present from my parents to me. I held on to the blank for a while cause I honestly wasn’t sure who I wanted to get on it. Sent this out to Big Time Jerseys about a month ago, and decided on Celebrini. Told them to add the C as well, cause I think we all knew it was gonna happen. Lo and behold, he became our captain, and I was there for the game last night when he had the game winning assist for the Cherny OT goal while they were wearing the Cali Fins. Super stoked to add this to the collection, can’t wait to wear it to the game on the 29th!

I synced up the goal horn, so the fact that they said "Chernyshov" simultaneously is not my editing, just two of the best in the biz, locked in.

Last nights game was electric!
Seeing Captain Mac out there leading the team to victory. Steny getting his first point. Cherny with the Dual goals. I loved all of it. This team is buzzing, the tank is loud and proud. The future is teal and these waters look bloody with victory! Let’s Go Sharks!!!! 🦈

It was on the road against the Vancouver Canucks. The Sharks lost 4–3.

Best goal of the night!

After watching the Kings last night, I'm gonna admit that I did underestimate them. I figured they'd be old and slow but no they got some offensive firepower and are suffocating defensively, given they kept the Sharks sog to a minimum. Same with Anaheim and that they're still dangerous. Oh man this season is gonna be a doozy and so excited to see the California teams in a playoff race

Watched F1 and forgot to post. Blame Aussie timezones.

Well the third (?) line heard me after last game, even though I backed them when the stats weren't as kind.

Pretty much everyone had a good game, not so many amazing standout performances.

We should really look at replacing Orlov, Nurse, Allan, Dickie, Cags are all LHD we don't need him.

See you all next game!!

The Sharks start their season with back to back overtime wins and Celebrini leads the way with 5 points. That said, turnovers and the penalty kill remain something to work on. We also have a new era at the Tank, a new captain, a new leadership group, a new pre/post host, and new fans, some of which can be a little bit of a lot, especially on social media.

And later in the show, we’ll check on the San Jose Barracuda and let you know if they managed to get out of the locker San Diego shoved them into last night.

Colby: And now we have another guy coming. Celebrini, you guys got to both play with him. I guess Connor, what did you see from him?

McDavid: I'm so impressed by his motor. His ability to like stay on pucks so much. He's such a dog on a bone. He's obviously got all the tools, the speed, the hands, the shot, the hockey sense, but I was just so impressed by how hard he is on pucks. And then at the Olympics, we were playing together it's like our first couple of practices and he passed me the puck a little bit. He came up to me, he's 19 years old, he's like, "hey, I'm force-feeding you the puck, I can't be doing that." I'm like, "oh shit. Wow, alright." He's next level. I know if I was 19 and playing with Sid or playing with someone, I'd be like, "you take it, you take it, you take it." I'm just really, really impressed with the kid. Can't say enough good things.

Crosby: Yeah, I mean just playing with him, there's not much you need to say to him. He knows what he's doing.

Colby: And he's smart, right. Force feeding it to Davo's a pretty smart move. Smart tactics.

Crosby: I just keep doing that.

Wow. Rush out to leads, give them up, and still win. This is a different year already through 2 games! The youth spread across all lines gives energy on every line. Celi has not scored but he’s setting others up and skating unbelievably. Definitely different vibes already.

They announced he would be co-hosting pre- and post-game live, and I don't believe I've seen him yet. To be fair, I've only caught pieces of the shows, so I may have missed him.

Has he made an appearance yet?
