I read once that the Kennedy campaigns skirted campaign finance rules by giving the Catholic Church 1,000,000 dollars of which the church would return to the family 900,000$ to be used under the radar to help Jack get elected.. probably common practice in politicsā€¦. Then and now. Potentially
