A country is supposed to function on behalf of the people, if "your country is not doing actions for you," what the heck is the point?!
Edit: Sorry for any confusion, this was in regard to how I have seen JFK's quote used today, which has citizens doing all the work for the country to not give anything back, as opposed to the original context, which would have placed it in direct to opposition to what is going on today.
You can't be serious. You're saying you can't see the difference between "ask yourself what you can do for the betterment of everyone" vs "vote for me and my team, we're gonna be the winners and shove it in those losers faces"?
No wonder that idiot won if some people are willfully blind and deaf to what he's saying
