The blue coloration is for sexual display, to show their health. The pigment comes from modified pigments from the fresh fish they eat. The pigments also have antioxidant and stimulant property, further indicating their health.

They’re pretty similar but the males have smaller pupils and do their little dance for the ladies. One on the right is a male and the left one might be a female, but its hard to tell

The blue feet are displayed by the male when trying to attract a mate. I'm sure the males get annoyed if this behaviour is referred to as "peacocking". Those wings look like they are built for diving.
