I feel like this is a list showing ticket price inflation more than popularity. Where is the list that ranks them by number of tickets sold?

  • 1. Gone with the Wind (1939) 202.3 million tickets
  • 2. Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) 178.1 million tickets
  • 3. The Sound of Music (1965) 142.5 million tickets
  • 4. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) 141.9 million tickets
  • 5. Titanic (1997)136 million tickets

Oh fuck, I keep saying Sound of Music is the leader when adjusted for inflation but I guess it's Gone With The Wind I was thinking of lol
