I can't stress enough how much this season reminds me of early Heisei so far. The filming style feels like a throwback (maybe it's the desaturated look?), the character dynamics are front and center, and it feels far less in-your-face than recent series. Loving it.
Both new Riders were awesome. They got really creative with Banken and Jaou's fighting styles and powers. Can't wait to see more of the Zodiac Alliance.

I just need a series with consistent story writing quality. I’m tired of Takahashi sending the hype to max just to not deliver by the finale. So far I’m really liking it, it feels like what Saber could have been with better writing lol

I feel like almost all the Toku shows Arakawa-san has penned have been really good and well-loved, so I hope My-th ends up the same way. It’s off to a great start, but there’s obviously still a lot left to prove. I do think he generally prioritizes character writing over hype moments though, so I don’t think it’ll be like a Takahashi show in that regard.

I think seed x eggs are created from the Fukashigi eating people with the ones with more eggs having a higher kill count, that would mean Yuna is doing cannibalism with multiple degrees of separation, also probably when a Fukashigi eats enough people it will evolve into a special more powerful form wich will probably be used as the first victim for the power up or super form this season.

I am loving Kamen Rider My-th, the last time I had so much fun watching a Kamen Rider series was during Kamen Rider Rx time in the 80's as a kid. Lovely story, visuals and characters so far.

Vanken had one of those designs that I wasn't sure of at first primarily because I wasn't a fan of the collar, but the way it was used in the fight was so awesome it changed my honestly. It's a shame though because it's already looking like he's going to be the first to die, the death flags are strong with this one.

Is Vanken gonna giveaway/lost his ride-eggs next episode? considering the first trailers there's no scene of eagle-frame vs vanken i assume so, if it did play that way it raises more question on why there's duplicate ride-eggs like the sheep/wolf number 8 eggs. which speaking of sheep
part of the rumour on Zodiac rider's interpersonal relationship is Mutn and Vanken having a "relationship" which just looking at the animals the connection : Dog at a farm help shepherd herding Sheep. its not really clear what their connection will be but considering this episode Mutn after showing concern for Vanken didnt do her character-gag of going back to sleep, there's gotta be something there
if Vanken did lose his Ride-eggs next episode to sora maybe maybe the Wolf-Frame vs Mutn fight is to take back Vanken Ride-eggs?

I have the same thinking, Muttn debuts to take Vanken's Ride X-eggs back.
Since they have two trailer scenes at the bridge (not sure if it's the same bridge), Muttn vs My-th Wolf Frame and My-th talking to Maou. I think Muttn will get defeated but Maou comes and retrieve her Ride-eggs from My-th.

Anyone else think the actor and character for Jyao reminds me of Ankh from OOO. The actor lowk looks like him too😅.
Personally tho I loved OOO and Ankh so I loved this episode with Jyao and his ruthlessness. Maou is definitely pissed off with him in the next episode.

The leather suit is already cracking up at the knee, My-Th's stunt work must be really insane to have this amount of damage to the suit early on the season. I wonder how many spares are there for stunt and hero ones as well.

So Why do Victims come back when My-th defeats the Fukashigi; but NOT when the Zyunishi Doumei defeat the Fukashigi?!!
Does it have to do with My-Th not having a Born Buckle; but the Zyunishi Doumei having Born Buckles?
Is it because of Yuna's ability to allow Sora to become My-th;
Is it because Yuna has powers given to her by the Seed X-Eggs given to her by Sora for Breakfast; that's also keeping her in good health[as well as giving her the power to give Sora the ability to transform from Human to My-th, and from My-th to Human!!

Myth "Separates" them while the Zodiacs "Eradicate" them, I'm assuming Myth's method takes the eggs away from the host and so they dont have the monstrous stuff anm while they kill the monster and the eggs drop as a result.

This might be off topic, maybe someone will know or remember too.
The plot point that My-th can save the people taken over by the Fukashigi but the Twelve Zodiac can't, for some reason I feel like there's a piece of media that I watched that has that same premise. I just can't remember if it's an anime or a toku or whatever. Or maybe I'm misremembering things?

I'm a little bit confused about that clubhouse scene. So that's at Yuna's school, right, and she was given that room because now they have a teacher involved, Asao? But he's not a teacher at her school, he's just a private tutor, right? So why would he make a difference?
And come to mention it, no school is letting 2 random adults in to wander like that.
Have I completely misunderstood that? Was it not at her school?
On another note, unless I was mishearing, the belt did actually pronounce it "Vanken", not "Banken", so I am now somewhat more on board with the slightly dodgy romanisation.

Really liked the fight scenes in this episode and I’m liking the consequences of Yuna not having the ride eggs is detrimental to her health. I’m also really liking the character relationships in the show. Vanken and Muttn seem to have sort of relationship given how Muttn was reacting to Vanken leaving. Tigre and Rid seem to have a brotherly relationship as well. I can’t wait to see how Myth and Rid’s relationship develops next episode.

I'm really glad that they decided to address the plot point of Yuna relying on the Seed Eggs this early on. Usually with Reiwa seasons the first 12 or so episodes usually don't loredrop that much.
Even if the next episode doesn't address some of the reasoning behind Yuna's dependency (which I don't think so since you will need Sora explaining to Tatsuomi), I'm still glad it serves as a reason for Sora to keep fighting.

Eagle Frame next week and it wasn't stated that Sora had owned the Ride X-Eggs 11 yet, I could say Vanken would lose his Ride X-Eggs to him.
Both Datt and Rid got criticized for not collecting Seed X-Eggs, now someone lost his own tranforming one, let's see the anger from Karumi lol.

The 30s long CM for next episode does show that Vanken got knocked out of his Rider form and his Ride Egg 11 got ejected, so Sora should be picking that one up to fight?
Kamuri at the current state does seem more focused on collecting more Seed Eggs rather than fighting Sora head on, so I guess with Vanken being the only major contribution to the Seed Eggs in the show so far (Datt did but she got one upped by Sora lol), he wouldn't be as harsh to him compared to Jyao which got his goals all wrong.

Yeah it's very likely to be case here, My-th Eagle Frame used the same Ride X-Eggs from Vanken.
But this makes me more interested in on WHY there're two copies of Ride X-Eggs from Cat-Rat, Rabbit-Turtle, Sheep-Wolf but not for all others, Fukashigi doesn't drop those. And HOW My-th gets his three pre-series.
Ride X-Eggs is the item that is rare and not rare at the same time. Maybe when the full flashback is shown, we get answers for this as well.

We'll find out next episode, the uncle is still out there and I know it's quite anticlimactic but he could "feel" something is wrong and come back in time, give Yuna some Seed X-Eggs to maintain her life and even give Sora "new toy" as Ride X-Eggs 11.
It's giving too easy to them hence why I said "anticlimactic".

It's great to finally see non-one-dimensional multiple characters on the Kamen Rider show again. In my opinion, the Myth arc up to the fifth episode is superior to the rest of the Zeztz season.
Yeah, I know this is still to early to compare, but Arakawa by far is my favorite writer compared to Yuya Takahashi

Holy, this show is so good, what the heck.
Vanken immediately became my favorite Junishi member, he's so freaking cool, but the highlight of this episode for me is actually the short interaction between Vanken and Mutn, and Datt was glaring at them in the back. Possible love triangle? Are we actually getting relationship drama in a Kamen Rider show?
Besides that, I also love the scene where Tatsuomi bent down to pick up stuff, and when he stood back up the Fukashigi suddenly appeared in the doorway. It's predictable but it always works.
Vanken's and Jyao's henshin poses are so awesome, the fight scenes are amazing, and there are so many different filming locations that makes the setting feel bigger and more real. There are just too many things to praised in this episode.

So Yuna needs to eat the seed eggs to live, that's an interesting concept. Poor Sora getting thrown around and beaten up by Jyao, he just wanted to fetch those eggs for Yuna.
Vanken is also looking really cool. So far I'm liking this season.
Not related to the episode at all, but TokuSato has this running joke where the characters use words from different Latin American dialects, which I find a bit annoying. For example, Shout uses Peruvian words, Reiji uses Chilean words and Sora uses Argentine words. This comes from the various memes in the Latin American toku community, but I don't think they should be carried over into official subs. One of the lines today was "Te voy a hacer bosta", which is Argentine for "I'm gonna fuck you up". I get the meaning, but I'd rather the joke stayed on Twitter.

I assure you, Jyao is gonna lose his buckle next time since he's focusing on the rat instead of the Unexplainable. Maou needs the X-Seed Eggs, and either for protecting the people or for what Yuna needs them, if he's not getting them, you're screwing yourself in his eyes.

Also Rid already questioning the Zodiacs as he was watching Jyao Hurt Myth and clearly felt it was doing too much.
Zodiac suppousley Help people but focuses more on Myth just because they don't like him for whatever happened in the past. The Priority should be Destroying the Inexplicables, I like hiw Venken shocased that, it seem he really felt for the Girl he couldn't save, so is a Potential Ally too, though for now he is most Likley a "Loyal Dog" to Zodiacs. And It was a Second but the Girld that is clearly the Sheep seeminlgy Worries for the Do was kinda cute for the Pastor Dog Dynamic with Cattle.

I don’t think it’s all the zodiacs that want to take down Myth. It’s mostly just Jyao since it seems like he has some sort of beef with the previous Myth and he’s just taking that rage out on Sora. So far the rest of the zodiacs that we’ve seen don’t really have any beef with myth and just want to take down fukashigi.

Very good episode. I like the high stakes early on and using a small timeskip to get to that is a smart move.
Now, Jyao really puts his loyalty to the Zodiac Alliance above the mission. That is, if he is actually loyal. Vanken seems to be a well meaning dude who values investigating things further, as it fits his Detective Dog motif
It's now confirmed Yuna needs the Seed Eggs to survive. It was very well telegraphed to the audience so it's nice to see it being explicitely relevant to the plot sooner rather than later

Looks like the Rider eggs are keeping yuna healthy.
Poor Sora screw over by the plot and the delivery service. Taotsuomi the streamer (a man of many talents).

For those that saw the episode, the "streamer" that got hijacked by a Fukashigi is portrayed by Kōmei Sugimori (杉森 功明 / @komei_175kick, and the actor announced that he will be serving as Kamen Rider Kei's Suit Actor!!! Formerly Sogo Aori, Mira Shifuto/Bun Pink's fiance from Boonboomger Episode 1

Not entirely related to the current episode, but I'm pretty interested in how well they'll convey the whole tradition vs modernity theme with the zodiac riders.
Kamuri was said to be very kind and kinda innocent, and we haven't quite seen that sorta stuff yet. With the 12 zodiacs seemingly supposed to be "traditional" heroes compared to Sora who is largely self-interested (for the lack of a better word), Jyao and Datt haven't quite shown any of that yet (especially the former), though Vanken and Tigre have quite a bit, with the former being quite sympathetic for the victim at the beginning.

kind and innocent as in he does not try to intimidate or talk down his subordinates while remaining calm and collected at all times (and from the cast blog/interviews, 'two steps ahead') but when things go wrong/awry, he does have a sinister aura while commanding respect (as seen in Episode 6's preview next week)

We got first saw vanken destroy fukashigi, out of suit fight we wanted very much from the actor. The first time we see and its from vanken, if they destroy the monster the victim change to it become perma death. Unlike myth. I say this before. This is like lupat. Where lupinranger has to secure the collection first before destroy the gangler. But patranger doesn't give a shit, they catch lupinranger and also destroy the gangler with or without lupin collection in it. In myth is more morally right since the one they save is people who change to fukashigi, the only one so far is only otosumi sora. What mystery come from, could be from Yuna, we might be know partially clear next year eps. We'll see.

I think rather than just "morally right", saving the person who has become Fukashigi is mostly an exception to My-th, rather than what it should be.
(it could be that it used to be saving people in the past, but Mao somehow changed it).
Kinda like Horror in Garo basically, turning to Horror is one way route.

If since 2004 2005 till today with 2 verse we have kouga and ryuga have no way ever to turn back horror to human you can't make it similar horror with fukashigi bro. Since in myth is reversible but jyunishi doumei is unaware with it now only myth with yuna help (truly koyomi alike here hope her fate isn't like her) can save turn them back. Human turn into horror in garo cant ever be change back to human at all its has been what 21 to 22 year now the franchise. Said again no horror isn't the same.

Damn Sora took a beating this ep from Jyao. Also I wonder if Sora can get knocked out of his transformations since Yuna is the one who controls when he de-henshins. Unless they go the route where Yuna takes a burden when Sora uses the driver and that's why she needs Seed Eggs to live.

Jyao is gonna get punished so hard by Kamuri next episode for not giving a shit about retrieving the Ride Eggs and just obsessing about attacking and trying to kill My-Th and the Fukashigi lmaoooo (he's getting slashed by Maou using his own blade in the episode preview)

Kamuri's gonna realize at some point that Sora/My-Th is either going to outsmart/outdupe when it comes to getting the Seed X-Eggs, and that's when he finally steps in and henshins into Maou against My-Th

-As a lot of people were guessing, the Seed Eggs are probably what's keeping Yuna alive/awake, which is why Sora's been feeding her eggs seasoned with Seed Eggs. Question is, was it because Yuna was NOT okay after the accident that took her parents, or was she like this BEFORE the accident?
-On the topic of Seed Eggs, I'm guessing the Eggs are made of people. The monsters eat people, they get turned into Seed Eggs in the monster, and the Non-My Th Riders take the Seed Eggs from the defeated monsters. Current day My Th is able to somehow take the Seed Eggs and still able to save the people.
-Jyao has one heck of an introduction, walking over/out-styling Sora, with Sora only being saved by the MotW making a massive smokescreen and Vanken coming in to tell Jyao to calm the hell down.
Next week, Bird and a cat being very angry towards a snake/cobra.

I want to know whether Yuna keep getting weaker is due to giving Sora permission to transform (meaning that if Sora don't turn into Myth, she won't get weak), or She will getting weaker no matter Sora transform or not (just like Koyomi in Wizard).

Yuna revives them and she is powered by seed eggs which are made of humans distilled. She most likely can suplement some of the seed eggs essence with her own human resources which is why we see it affect her body

- Starting off with a little of bit of unmorphed action there from Joey Iwanaga -- THAT KICK YO!
- That exploding collar attack from Vanken was sick!
- Looks like when a Fukashigi is defeated in the hands of a Zyunishi Doumei member, the affected victim/host is perma-dead (which would explain Tatsuomi's surprised reaction from the ending of last episode regarding Fukashigi victims).
- Goddammit Sora, you just had to swap out the labels for the delivery packages. That chase scene with him alongside had me chuckling, the chemistry sure is growing!
- LOL the general public thinking that Fukashigi Attack video is made with AI
- LMAO Tatsuomi with the vlogging attempt.
- Hot damn, Jyao's got a swag walk and henshin there. And he's got some solid snake action there.
- Oh man, Yuna not feeling too well -- no wonder how X-Eggs are definitely important for her.
- Next time, EAGLE FRAME FLIES INTO ACTION!

OMG This episode was ABSOLUTE MYTHEMA
Vanken Henshin and Fight are all awesome as peak.
Sora and Tatsuomi Chasing the Ride Eggs to get but they miserable tired after stopped for arguing chased.
3 Girls having a chat for upcoming mission about them
Meanwhile the Zodiacs meeting prepared for upcoming battle of Vanken and Jyao to help or fight My-Th.
However Sora and Tatsuomi searching about the Egg in the box was lost but Yuna arrives for the meeting
Yuna investigate for captured monster to fight and save people's live
Meanwhile Yuna stay at home while Sora (Myth) fight against Monster for saving the people but they arrive for interrupt the fight
Kamen Rider Jyao Transform and Fight was ABSOLUTE FANTASTIC
The Tail fight was awesome tho
Myth Finishers but Interrupted by Jyao captured the leg but they fight for interrupted the mission
Jyao finishers was so hardly awesome to beat both but monster has been defeated but Vanken Arrives to escape Myth but Interrupted for Jyao to stop fighting to Myth
Lastly Sora talking to Yuna but they collapsed
Overall it was fantastic episode for Myth this week
Next week It's time for Myth Eagle Frame Debut time!
